Navigating
the sea of emotion
Is far more treacherous
than any ocean

Waves of sorrow
torrents of pain
It's enough
to drive you insane

Squalls of sadness
and of fear
If your not careful
you'll disappear

Storms of guilt
and of greed
A strong heart
you'll surely need

As your about
to meet your demise
On the horizon
the sun will rise

The clouds have broke
no more precipitation
Shining threw
are rays of jubilation

Thank the lord
these emotions did cease
For I have found
my inner peace

So now my friend
let me leave you this tip
When things look bleak
don't abandon the ship

I'm lost
when I find myself
I'll come back for you

Little Bear
Enjoying my morning coffee
in the first moments of the day
while sharing my sleepy thoughts
with the birds early song.
And the symphony that plays
might be just for me
if I close my eyes
and imagine it to be.
The day is waking up with me
and the blue sky yawns and stretches wide above.
Such contentment there is
in making plans for a happy day
while looking for ways to make it so.
Nothing could be akin to this moment
such simple pleasures for my simple soul.

Michael Blonski
I write to take away this suffering
that builds up
after years over exposure
to the outside

I write to place myself
on the operating room table
dissect each fiber and
better understand what I'm
made up of

I write to tell the world
that I'm alive
that I'm not afraid to die
that I'm willing to try
to
make the most of this time
I spend traveling around this
spherical spaceship

filled with ice and fire
love and hate
tallest trees
and smallest microbes

I write to proudly say
I reject your hate
the suffering proposed
and the so called world
you know

I write to hear the sounds of
crashing waves
see the darkness in the deepest caves
feel the clouds that roll by

I write because I'm alive
