It's always the innocent that pays for others stupidity.
It's always the innocent.

Every wrong that occurs dealing with racism.
Always comes from fools.
Which we recently have seen in the news.

And now, we have Charleston memories to reflect too.
From the action of a misguided soul.

Lost in memories of long ago.
And nine people of faith is gone.

Was a slave privilege?
Or his master had all the rights?
Wasn't the slave male woman *****?
Requested or taken off into the night.

Was minority soldiers treated the same during the world of wars?
Or the **** soldiers accepted easily at the table like they were on the same paper?

Wasn't minorities hung, slaughter simply because of their color?
Wasn't laws supported legally and crafted  greatly to support one over the other?

All men are created equal only points out the injustice in the wording of the writing.
For truth stands not in the statement one bit.

It's strange.
It's strange when racial conflicts comes from a white male of his perspective.
When his rage takes over and he acts out his action to his own satisfaction.

He been privilege, given a special right.
Constantly seen daily in the eyes of others.
Than when troubling times hits them in the pocket.
Its the fault of others.

It's not about a confederate flag.
That's a material substance holding onto a group past.
For the Union won the won and the stars and stripes flies today.
And that symbol has very many messages to say.

Wasn't segregationists of the fifties coming across as fools?
And was the same in early days of the sixties too.
Who doesn't believe that some politicians shares the same views?

They were privilege and change according to the votes they seek?
In front of their own they word the message accordingly.
Then all politicians are master of this.
Don't master what their color.

The privilege have just a little more rights.
Treated better before judges.
Best excuses from lawyers concerning their defense.

But cries more about this and that.
Without accepting the truth you still have it better.

It's one of life's oldest questions and it echoes throughout time
what's going on? what's the world's frame of mind?
three words that inspired a classic by Mr. Marvin Gaye,
What's going on, really what's happening today?

You'd think with all of the technological advances and societal changes we've made our lives as people would change but it seems we can still be as brutal as our ancestors who once dwelled in caves
We can still be as cold as the arctic
and venting our frustrations through social media is only so cathartic,

What's going on?
What's really going on today?
hopefully a revolution... because we need another major change
Just thoughts
