Someday

Someday will come for us.
Till then our blemished secrets
and tarnished dreams only lay in wait.

Our hands may now yield nothing...
But “someday” sleeps quiet
at the back of our minds.
Awaiting for enough time to elapse.

Someday can never be rushed.
It can never be summoned.
It will come when it comes
and when it does, we’d hardly notice
it’s arrival because the anticipation
and longing will be replaced by overwhelming happiness and relief.

So wait...
It will come.
Someday “someday” will be today.

And in the eyes so lovely I see a shade of blue
That makes it so I find I stare when I dare to look at you
For mixed with green I see a hue I wish to always hold
In Montana skies lies lullabies lined with shade of gold

A newer sheen I've yet to find nor one that's so embracing
A wonder within a mystery with the beauty I'm facing
Smiling within layers so that nothing truly hides
And in that truth I find my world with Montana skies

I Whisper

I whispered to sun.
“Won’t you come out and play with me.
as I gracefully dance below your rays of light.”

The sun smiled answering divinely,
as it played peek a boo with clouds.

I whispered to moon.
“Won’t you come and play with me,
as I delicately sing sparking
like another star in your robe of diamonds.”

The moon smiled answering with light,
as it played vibrating strong in night sky.

I whispered to my dreams.
“Won’t you come and play with me,
as I may celebrate life with gratitude.”

The heart answered in rhythmic song,
as I felt a blanket of miracles emerge.
The word whisper jumped out at me hence this poem was born.
