As summer fades and autumn comes to call,
The leaves upon the trees begin to change,
Their colors bright and bold, they soon will fall,
And leave the trees to weather winter's range.

With every gust of wind, they dance and swirl,
A fiery dance before they drift away,
And as they fall, they blanket all the world,
In a tapestry of red and gold and gray.

The trees, now bare, stand tall against the sky,
Their branches reaching out like bony hands,
And in the quiet stillness, you can spy,
The beauty that remains in barren lands.

So let us marvel at the leaves' last dance,
As autumn's chill begins its slow advance.

Daily life was such a bore,
Couldn’t get any more worst.
The events of life, all a blur,
Will this get any better?

I prayed to God to find an answer,
Hopping one day I’ll break this chain
Sweet chance, A friend walks in
That led my steps abroad.

Lord, how rich the times are now,
I praise and thank you for this.
Now must I thank ye friend,
For I see joy in thine presence.

The friendship you have given me,
The joy you brought to my soul,
Has filled me with strength
And made my world clear again.

Now life has changed.
The events of life all clear again
And much better the times are now
And I thank you very much.

In you I put my trust
And I will always have faith.
By your side I will always stand,
And be the ride you always want.

The moment we met,
We were caught in a friendship net.
And indeed a perfect set.
A gift from above I get.

Our friendship will never end,
I promise to you my friend
The events of life all clear again
I thank you very much once again.
This poem is dedicated to my friends who supported me and helped me choose my path right, who came in to my life and changed everything, who saved my life from a huge mess.....

In the early bright
from a distant drift
came an echo swift
Ah! something's not right.

Another case of a missing child,
Fallen prey in their wicked plan,
labelled high in their evil mind,
takes a place in their tainted chain.

With news of such, i'm grieved,
Their words offend my ears.
How could one heart respond
To such wicked plan of yours.

Innocent souls for the price tag,
Forced to work against their choice,
in the hands of the folly gang
their frolic moment gone.

Trails of their innocent tear
screams loud for a helping hand
take heed my fellow dear
go seek and heal their wound

fighting for another man's cause
i will not rest and have peace
i care much as to be fair
to save a child in despair

In this game of cat and mouse,
It wont take long, rest assured.
For i'm committed to the cause
To assure that justice is served.

I stand here on the frontline,
Tracing every drop of an innocent tear
And lily-white prints on a weathered stone
To cure the wounds and heal their fear

And when the chase is done
il lay my head and rest
And thank to God for what is done
And be at peace and be at rest

And in the break of dawn
from a distant drift
came an echo swift
'everything's gonna be alright.
I'm an amature writer so if you can give any constructive advice. I'd appreciate it

The far cry from the eastern hills
Echoing through the land of the Nagas.
Tis once a land of joy and laughter
Yet the Indian Army denies it all.

The devil has arrived to this land again,
This time in their uniform and with guns,
Thirsty for blood, the blood of the Nagas,
Claiming souls as they march on.

In this green hills and valeys
The friends of hill people turned to foe,
Stalking you from afar,
Spraying bullets as you pass by.

My brothers fell one by one,
On that fateful day of 4th Dec night,
Screaming out in pain and agony,
As the Indian army empty their magazine.

What wrong did the coal miners do?
To be sprayed with bullets in that manner.
They were heading back to their loved ones
With their earnings of a hand full.

For a better life he said,
When he walked out that peaceful home,
As her daughter make a list for Christmas
And his wife smiled and waved.

Not knowing he would never return,
Alas! Their family left shattered.
Underneath the bright star above their home,
Their sons and daughters and wife wept.

Oh, what gain do you get?
For the pain you inflict.
The tears from our eyes
Will remain wet on the ground.

Will our lives be just gone in vain?
Will our voices be heard and answered?
O brethren, let us unite with one voice
For the cause of innocent blood spilled

Nagaland mourns the death of our brothers
This day we will not forget.
Our tears will remain wet on the ground
Till justice is served.

Just a lonely man On a rainy night.
Hopping to see his bonny bride,
To spend his time, a joyful night.
Just to see the morning dew.
  Another day passes by.

With hopes and fate by his side.
He sat and waits, another night
Just to see the sun rise
   Another day passes by.

 yet he waits again,
A wait that was long.
Till the day he heard a broken note,
That echoes through the woods Like a mournful song.

The woods were quiet,
He heard the echo of a pity voice.
The voice of his bonny bride That channels through the woods
From another world.

Confessing to God I am a sinner
LORD, every steps I take, I commit a sin.
Every word I speak, I commit a sin.
Every thoughts in my mind, I commit a sin.

I repent, I sin again.
A thousand times I have failed
Yet, so merciful is The Lord,
“ For great is Your mercy towards me,
And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol”

Each steps I take, i commit a sin.
I am so weak, still Jesus loves me.
“For sin shall not have dominion over you,
For you are not under law but under grace.”

Each word I speak, i commit a sin.
I am so weak, still Jesus loves me.
“For when we were still without strength,
In due time Christ died for the ungodly.”

So now, I take an oath.
“Surely my lips shall not speak unrighteousness,
Neither shall my tongue utter deceit.”

“Therefore my heart rejoiced,
And my tongue was glad;”

Each thoughts in my mind, i commit a sin.
I am so weak, still Jesus loves me.
I kneel before You and praise You,
"For we know that the law is spiritual,
but i am carnal, sold under sin."

Confessing to the Lord I am a sinner.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
But now I am saved through Christ our Lord.
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

*“Blessed is the man who trusts in You!”
“Blessed be the Lord forevermore!
Amen and Amen”

Erstwhile, i cared for none
But now i have a promise
To the Lord that i can be
As worthy as a servant should be

The earth is my battlefield
Amid in the evil, wearily i stand
A relentless battle to survive
Trying hard to stay alive.

Each day I'm faced with opponent
In an arena crowded with temptation.
Masters of the dark distort my spirit,
In their deadly game, i am but a pawn.

So weak, i tremble with fear.
This unutterable battle, i am bound to lose.
Lord, send forth thy holy warrior
And save me O Lord, make haste.

He knows my every weakness.
My weakness his console,
But, Lord have mercy on me
For you said "My power works best in weakness."

Permit me as your lowly servant if i deserve,
And send me forth to justify the truth.
Nurture me under Your grace
And i will build in You a strong faith.

As a roaring lion he may come,
But i will stand still and never move.
For i have faith in You Lord
I will rejoice and forever be glad.

Lord, make me wise
That i may know his cunning ways,
Make a shield around me
And wrap me in Your loving arms.

I will watch and pray
Lest i get weary,
I have a life to sacrifice,
A heart to give.

Lord, have patience with me
"O Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger,
Nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure."
For i am but dust and You are my saviour.

I will prove to be your worthy servant,
I will honor Your grace and love,
Till the day i hear the trumpet,
In that day, i will greatly rejoice. AMEN..

Sweet little flower, take my song
Go and tell her how beautiful she is
How sweet and fair she seems to be
When i resemble her to you.

Tell her how young she is
How fertile and strong.
In the day she shines just like you
In the dawn, she cast the smell
Of her sweet perfume.

She captures the heart of many
With the face that wore a rosy cheek;
A coral lip displaying an alluring smile.

But Oh little flower,
Tell her how small is the worth
Of beauty if light retired
And if one losses its soul
What gain does she have?

Then die! that she
The common fate of mankind
Oh little flower,
tell her how small is the worth;

Oh little girl, hear my song,
Let the wind of dawn blow away the empty pride
For mortal beauty will fade away
But spiritual beauty is endless.
Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

In this life, I see no joy.
To survive, it is a battle,
I no longer wish to fight
I struggle each day living my life with doubt.

I prayed asking God why am I still alive?
I don't see reasons to live,
Darkness is all that surrounds me.
and i am lost in the world blinded by the night

I sleep away with hopes for tomorrow,
just to resume the life.
The stresses in my heart and mind!!
At this point i am mentally unstable.
And It's enough pressure for a man to commit suicide.

As i strut along weak and weary,
Came a soothing chant in flurry,
With its echo sweet and lovely,
Yet its melody sad and dreary.

Creeping into my idle mind,
Polluting me of all kind.
Slipping through the cracks of my weakness,
Seeding at the comfort of its darkness.

Taking its root on my heart, immune.
Feeding on the lies I consume,
Keeping the evil deeds resume,
Making my life wholly deplume.

Sprouting through the stretches of my ego,
Bearing its fruit on my habit as I go,
Killing my character swift aghast.
Leaving me lost and blur at last.

My presence denied all glamour,
All frolic lost in a quick manner,
Left me bruised, blue and sore,
Darkness there and nothing more.

Lost in the dark all blinded,
I sat there hopeless and chained,
For the wages of sin is death,
And in its gulf a fitting grave.

As i nod there nearly drowsing,
A ray of hope as the church bell ringing,
A shimmering tint from a distant drift,
A desperate grasp on the graceful lint.

My hands tightly curled into each other,
As I begin to sit and ponder.
Then I heard a call from yonder,
Whose echo so soothing and tender,

Its melody full of love and kind,
Reaching out to my burdened mind,
Healing me from deep inside.
Drawing out the evil outside.

"And it all made the difference".
