*** and him.
In a bag. In a memory.
in a long while ago.

Here we go again

through paradise

with scorching sun and heavy storms

and crocodiles and butterflies;

starlight and clouds

and you and me and nothing.

I like every phase;
I like every wane and wax.
The pale glow of a night sky lit by her.
Her mellow halo of sun and starlight,
reflecting back what is given to her.
Turning the harsh heat into light.
I so badly want the Moon to kiss me with her dim, delightful glow.
I am her daughter, after all
I admire her every phase, especially the night after the full moon. The Night After.

Amour,
the sun in your cavern eyes
which in the light
faint into demise

of all you hide
burdens and bones
heavy secrets
thoughts of stone

and when sunshine
hits your hazel windows
the sleepless nights
swim like lost minnows

in depths of water
silk, smooth, and storm
sirens singing
sinking in swarms

of butterflies
from rays of sun
though in your eyes
the rays are shunned

the great abyss
of secrets kept
glow no more than opaque gems of amber
for when the moon shines
those same secrets shine translucent shrines
of spilling syrup.

and only to the moonlight
do those hazel depths respond.

Is not the Moon when full
All the more beautiful
For the scars all can see
Which it displays proudly?

too high and you die
too down and you drown
too carless and you lose
too careful and you choose.
