Stop searching for places where you feel like you need to fit in, especially when you truly don’t belong there.

Stop seeking love from people just to fill the emptiness inside you.

You cannot expect to receive something from others if you are unable to give it yourself.

Simply put, you cannot give what you do not have.

So, learn to appreciate and love yourself first.

The haze of this maze,
Sets me ablaze,
While the phase of the praise,
Lost their ways,
Now my gaze turns to new days,
And new ways.

I call you my son, does that mean nothing?
I walked beside you when you thought you were alone,
I carried you when you thought you gave up,

I promise you a better life,

To have room to shine.

Without sadness and sorrow,

I promise to protect you,
And through bad times to hold you.
