I saw purple

The sun beats down on mounds of desert sand
Overlooked, where a withered wooden windmill stands

Specs of white fall from the sky
Shreds from calendar binds
Covering the object of the sands
Like dirt over landmines

The hourglass is empty
As it sinks into the sand

When emotion feels good
