Maria Mitea
he touched her by mistake,
staggering, almost falling off her feet,
eyes soon enough met,
the light seemed like a piece of mirror
                thrown into them,
                                            shards,
a glassy glow,

that shine you see sometimes in tears,
on her face as round as a rosy apple,
cheeks high to the sky, the lips careless

he could’ve reached out by accident
to catch her, perhaps, by the waist,
- ask from where she comes,
release her like a veil blown by the wind

Once a jelly
Escaped from it's mold,
It wasn't very good
With the rules
Been
Told

Heading to the ocean
To be
Weightless
And
Free

Sliding across land
And eventually
Landing
On
Sand

A small climb
Into the
Brine

Floating around
A jellyfish
Was found,
It was love at first
Wobble
And
Bobble

In no time at all
Some offsprings ensured,
Who was to
Tell them
It couldn't happen?

And as they matured,
Came to be
Called
Gelateenagers

I was left shattered, yet still hopeful,
Like trying to sip wine from a glass in pieces,
Longing for your return,
Hoping you’d choose to come back,
Like waiting for the sun to rise in the west.

But you thrived in your freedom,
Separation became your joy,
Now, I realize it’s time,
Time to let go and rise again,
For I have touched the deepest depths,
Until there’s no room for more.

Empires have fallen
For a beauty lesser
Than yours
Helen of Troy would pale by your side
