Tuesday was a good day
I awoke early naturally to
The sweet sound of birds
Singing their morning tune
And their joy made my joy

Then I heard the terrible news
In Brussels people were dying
And my heart went out to them
Feeling disgusting shame that we
As humans do that to each other

Half in stress and half in pleasure
For I am one hopeless romantic
The auditions have obviously begun

Future names and different clothes
Same thing happens again and again
Spiritual anxiety,quicksilver soup

Empty life and no final destination
Shivering in the boiling white heat
Jangling nerves of red anticipation

Blue planet eyes spinning
In the galaxy of his skull

Time to set aside work awhile
Playfulness , gaiety and laughter
Gives all a new perspective as
Our tired souls cry out for fun

Simple pleasures ,moments spent
In stillness,laughing with friends
Or watching that funny movie again
Play and fun balance our daily lives

We deserve happiness and enjoyment
Allowing pleasure in each new day
