All faith bestowed,

Chestnut hands splayed
Across the white of my skin
Lips igniting a fire
Within my soul
The priest speaks
As these thoughts bombard me
Unable to listen to the sermon
As the roar of memory
Crash against my mind
As waves upon a shore
With each time
the water kisses the lakeside
It takes a piece of it back
as do you
Even while in the house of God
Memories consume every inch of my mind.

For once I thought that I won't make the same mistake again
It seems that the world revolves just like the past I've burned
The friendship I've carefully handled and preserved
I even invested time and concern

I thought we were true friends
Separated when we were trying to surpass our own dreams
It seems that you're like the others
Leaving when you've find someone you've once dreamed

How could you turn your back from me?
Friendship should have no boundaries
Aren't we even allowed to laugh?
Or just talk all night about nonsense things

I asked you
When should I only be allowed to message you?
And then you just told me
The most bull**** response I've ever heard  of
I'm totally fine

That ‘merry wanderer of the night’
Goodfellow Robin (our sweet Puck)
lends his name to the pin-cushion
gall, the wind-brought bedeguar
born and bred on rosa arvinsis.

A mass of mossy filament
sticky-branched it turns to
green then pink as autumn
falls, wearing winter’s crimson
‘Fore it dons a reddish-brown.

Inside ‘til spring
this tissued home with food
becomes a womb for
wasps upon the stem,
upon the branch, upon the tree.

How beguilingly
these wood-land growths
are so confined: beneath
the gentle rose - sub rosa
parthenogenesis divine
The present blocked,
  by words unsaid

The pastures torn,
  its furrows bled

The present blocked,
  by words unsaid

The future cries,
—its orphans dead
