Qualyxian Quest
A little Chicago snow
A little Seattle rain
Tokyo to Kyoto
I take the bullet train

Sor Juana's mystic flight
Life itself is pain
Sleep, grateful sleep
Dreams in my brain

                Awaken!

I miss my mom
I miss my mom
Years go by
She's not here

Emptiness
Absence, Absence
Memories
Silence, Tears

You are standing in your ego,

I am standing with the truth,

so round & round we both go,

till we are both lost & confused

Sometimes it's hard to know where a man's loyalties
lie
and at times, it's hard to see what's right before your
eyes
and when & if that happens, he can take you for a
ride
and that kind of resentment does not easily
subside

It can be easy for a man to pull you right
 in
when he says the right things & pays
attention
The only way to see if he's the cheating
kind
is to fall in love first with his soul & his
 mind

If he's worth the wait, he will stick
   around
If he's pressuring you, tell him to hit the ground
It is not that easy for a treasure to be
  found
So, listen with both ears, wait for the right
  sound

Too many times, we give away our heart
too much too soon can tear it all apart
Take it slow & easy that's a good
  start
building a true love is the best part

I want to shrivel up and blow
away

like a fallen leaf on an autumn
day

a carefree dancer, waltzing in the
breeze

form a pile on the ground, jump in
  me,

feel the rainfall wash over me

then bask in the sunlight, so
  colorfully

I want to melt into the damp dark
earth

to be born again when Spring gives birth

Today I got a hug, out of the blue

and it even came with an "I love you''

Such a simple kind gesture

  It brought me such pleasure

It picked me up when I felt down

  turned my day totally around

Just when I thought no one cared

someone loved me, someone shared

Stay
 Apr 30 Eve
Alex Teng
Don’t stay because you feel you must,
Love can’t be built on guilt or dust.
Stay only if your heart beats true,
If every breath still aches for “you.”

I want your smile, not just your face,
Your laughter warm, your soft embrace.
But if your joy begins to fade,
Don’t let our love become a cage.

I’d rather kiss you one last time,
Than hold you bound by silent crime.
So stay, my love, if love is why
Not just to soothe a saddened sigh.

Love calls the heart to trust and grow,
Love is fresh, it’s always new.
Let go, be free, embrace the unknown,
For love is felt when hearts are shown.
And love will bloom eternally.

You call them forth with gentle lies,
But I am truth behind their cries.
You urge them on to leap and trust,
While I remind them—dreams turn dust.
And I will guard them, eternally.

While you tempt with promises so fleet,
Love guides them to truths, slow and sure.
Love, not illusion, makes hearts complete,
And blooms eternal, deep and pure.

You paint with light, with colors bright,
But I am shadow veiled in night.
You sing of joy, of hearts unchained,
Yet I recall what loss has stained.
And I will linger, eternally.

Love may rise where doubt still lingers,
Soft as whispers, light as fingers.
Through night and shadow, hearts will fight,
For every loss still births new light.
And love will stand—unyielding, eternal.

I read your poem
I got my satisfaction
I gathered some humid leafs
And violets
Blossoming there in your head.
