Crescent moon, a scythe,
cutting through the darkest nights.
I exhale. Relief.

White, black, green, and red,
Waving a flag.
Let the world know
There is a right to be alive—
The people of Palestine have,
In their own olive land.
The latest death toll stands at 44,383 Palestinians, around 70% of them are kids and women.

You looked the same,
and yet nothing like I remembered.
Your eyes, sharp and soft all at once,
pulled me back to every place we had been,
and every place we never went.
The laughter we shared,
the fights that cracked us,
And the dreams we were too afraid to dream.

irrepressible feelings
a certain
nostalgic hinderence

called
puppy love.

i have found what you are like
the rain,

            (Who feathers frightened fields
with the superior dust-of-sleep. wields

easily the pale club of the wind
and swirled justly souls of flower strike

the air in utterable coolness

deeds of green thrilling light
                                  with thinned

newfragile yellows

                      lurch and.press

—in the woods
                      which
                              stutter
                                        and

                                              sing
And the coolness of your smile is
stirringofbirds between my arms;but
i should rather than anything
have(almost when hugeness will shut
quietly)almost,
                  your kiss

Which is worse;
Being unable to go back to the past
Or going back and finding that no one else is there?
Perhaps by being stuck in the present, we are saved the pain of realizing that everyone else has moved on.
