Wrapped in bulky woolen sweaters,
we scampered across the length of the field,
where crisp leaves had begun to fall
from several stalwart trees--
Surrounding our beloved playground like
tall, spare reeds, bending slightly in the wind--
And with the dampened earth beneath our feet,
and the mist-filled air crackling with Fall's breath,
We gazed upward at an ashen-toned sky,
as an early moon carved a lighted path for us
to follow--
Our hands held together tightly, running quickly
with the eagerness of youth,
seeking warmth and comfort at the roaring hearth;
We exhaled, watching the frosty air envelope us--
before falling lovingly into mother's waiting arms.
Childhood memories from the start of Autumn evenings !

Who stands by me now I face the demon?
Who will be beside me now I cannot see the sun?

Now my strength is dropping, my courage is stopping, who's here to pass me the gun?

I do not remember climbing this mountain on my own.
Everyone I had are now suddenly gone.

Who will aid me slaughtering this giant demon?
Who will drag my limbs back to the sun?
Who stands by me, now this fight has begun?

Where are you! Yes you! Who knows my pleads too well.
Where were you at the ringing of the drums and the bell.

Why leave me on the top of the mountain, why leave me ready to die.
Where are you now I'm standing this high.
Why did you leave without saying goodbye.
Ready to see my dead body even try.

Where are you now I'm about to give in.
Who will stop me to surrender?
Who will see me step in,
the demon's fury, so hot and tender.

Do I know crazy
I know him well
Too much time
In and out of hell

Even the strongest
Can't keep
The sky from falling
My motor's running
My mind keeps stalling

Here I am
If there’s anything you need
My heart is racing
My brokenness is in the lead!

A life time of love
Can so easily slip
Beware of greasy palms
In your lover's grip
The jungle is full
Of tar pits traps
Hold on tight
I'll pull you back

Beware of the lions
Tigers and bears
Don't be a snake unaware
Tarzan the great
King of the jungle
On a slippery vine
He'd simply be Dumbo
Sooner or later we all stumble

Unworthily
Selfishness and greed
Such provisions
On this journey
