Faisal Al-Doori is a poet, story writer, critic, journalist and translator, and won a prize from The Arabic Union for Writers 2000. He has published many papers in English literature on Dickens, Wordsworth, Fielding, Defoe and Hardy. He got his PhD from Aberystwyth University 2015. He has a technical diploma from The Institute of Medical Technology, Baghdad (1974); a B.Ed. , an M.A in English literature, University of Tikrit (19980, 2003; and from The College of Education, Iraq; and an LLB from the College of Law, Baghdad University (2006).
