Footprints
Long ago -
     can't hold

Warm water
Yesterday-
       now cold

Clear sky
In the past-
      it's gone

Dreams made
Not alone-
     undone

Seawall
Once that strong-
      Broken

Seabirds
Together-
      unseen

Two hearts
Believing-
        asking

One love
Forever-
         hoping
