When you left the emptiness
Beside me somehow grew emptier,
The walls caved in closer around me,
The air became thinner.

In the absence of you the presence of joy
Seemed contradictory, like a
Bright sunset on a cloudy evening,
Or a good dream on a sleepless night.

Whatever part of me you took with you,
You can keep it as you keep yourself
Away from me, and I will find it again
And become someone you never knew.
Sappy mood
