I thought of my heart as
made from the strongest steel
However some time ago
The reality of my state was revealed.
The glass casing of my heart
shattered, shredding through
my emotions with every shard
of the broken and fractured glass stained
the colors of hopes, fears, and pains.
And in this destruction here I lay.
And in this misery I pass my winter days.
