lack denies privilege
A crystal ring for my love
But a bronze winding,
around her wrist
the work of my hands
if wine flows from the heart,
then my soul I sell
for her beauty,
with the pennies in my pocket
now a man,
to wrap her heart,
with the fabric of roses
