Is a narcissist
Trying to make fun
Of anything
To fill its ego
They will eat you alive.
Some aren't safe,
The empathetic
Can run
But there is nowhere
To hide

The alarm has been sounded
“Abandon ship, before we sink into a sea
Full of broken code
Connection errors
And unusable links”
Yet I say, let us stay
Let us go down with the ship
This ship is one built of words
Many have bonded quickly to each other
A community that will flourish despite a lack of home
We may not have much time left together,
But the time spent will be cherished
We are more than a website,
We are poets
And I say
We go down writing
They may take our website, but our quills will never dry

So few hands
Hold the affairs of the world
So many hearts
Vast with the spell of uncertainty
The boats are rocking
In murky water

A Broken Poet
I  have been blocked from the world
The world I used to submerge myself in
I miss that world

I have been blocked from the good emotions
I have been blocked from happiness
My brain has betrayed me
My body has betrayed me
Hey guys, I'm sorry I haven't been active in quite a long time, I have been having a real struggle with my dear friend depression, please send prayers and good thoughts, Thanks.
With love, A broken Poet

Here a pump,there a pump,
Everywhere pump, pump, pump
Touch and pump,
A gentle pump, a hard pump,
Swipe and wipe,
Oh!Corona what a life,
OCD  of sanitizer.

Good morning, Sun. It is good to see you

You wake me ever so gently
and call me to begin this new day

I like the night you see but something about morning
calls to me

Perhaps it is my love for this quiet valley
and the feeling that while everyone is still asleep,
I am sewing  intentions for an extraordinary day

And before your golden rays kiss the sky
I believe even
I
wake before you

Good morning, Sun. Let us begin

flow fiercely

radiate strength

hooked in a riptide

direct me
to

a new adventure

another challenge

a second chance

buoyant

immobilized

i surrender
to you

to ultimately determine

the destination

I heal in the puddle of your affection
Clear water dripping from your lips
Pooling with my oil spill tears
Lost on the plight of my affliction
Another cart hitched to the horse of depravity
Bring out your dead
There is no room for mourning here
Plant your new flowers
In dark rich soil
The spirits in the earth
Watch over the roots of your labor
