A Heart Not Mine
yueqian May 2020
He pulled out my heartstrings...
I felt his love creeping in my veins.
It ate my guts and squeezed my heart.
He owned everything til nothing remains.
He drew his affection like a work of art.
Then there's a truth that can never be denied.
His heart's not mine and his hands are free.
In my mind I play with thoughts of him.
Imagining how is it to be with him.

Will I ever held his hands?
Will I ever kiss his lips?
Will I ever look into those eyes?
Will I ever feel he's mine?

A part of me so scared to lose you.
I don't want nothing else but you.
But your heart's not mine and you are free,
just like a wild flower under a shade of a tall tree.

Goodbye Spring and Summer
yueqian May 2020
Flowers bloomed, their sweet smell filling my nostrils,
the earth seemed fresh and lovely.
the sky was as blue as the sea, as clear as I remember.

Children were dancing to the rhythm of the wind,
feeling the earth beneath their feet.
Daffodils were shining bright under the sun, thankfully smiling to the new season He has given.

Seasons change so does life.
One day you're here, next you're gone.
Good bye spring and summer!
May you stay longer next year!

My Animosity
yueqian May 2020
A fainting heart full of pain
Deep beneath, quench by rain.
A heart full of solidarity,
Now full of implacability.

I feel the numbness on my skin,
Numbness made by the cause of pain.
Tormented by memories of you,
It lingers in my heart so blue.

Immersed on deepest memories you made,
Reminiscing the happy times we shared.
Now gone and all left is doubt,
Ruthless and torpid heart.

There will never be a single tear,
From my lips you will no longer hear
The words that I used to say,
For you I’m just another wraith,
And nothing but a worthy bait.
