can you feel
that?
the agonizing empathy
which trickles
onto your injured disposition
and I hunger for your fidelity
i long for your embrace
for the melody in which
your colloquy becomes my
asylum

Stop scarring your own skin
Tearing your thoughts apart
You are a masterpiece of wonders
Rebuild yourself and be whole again
Write out your demons
And tear the paper instead
Every breath I breathe,
Is poison.

Every move I make.
Is weakened.

Every look I take,
To gaze upon you.

You are poison.
Yet I am,
addicted.
We're a generation
of bad habits
and hypocrites
that'll do whatever
it takes to be happy;
whatever it takes
to supposedly
remain free.

         Because
         the truth is;
                  we're all addicted
                 to something.

And   we     let       it       get
       the    best    of      us
