I wish u were always there with me
In my present and history
But u only dwell in my thoughts and memory
As if u were an unsolved mystery.

The mystery which I've to solve
For I need to get involve
With my mind heart and soul
Before it defeats me at all.

I wish u were always there with me
And all my faces u could see
Shower upon me your mercy
And from this delima set me free.

Dilemma to hold on u or let u go
Vipe your thoughts at a single blow
Its not difficult for me to do so
But the rebellious heart in me says no.

I wish u were always there with me
For the sake of my heart only/heart's glee
Oh please listen to my plea
And give me the reson to be happieee.

Vipers vipe another's life
by the flavor of their bites.

Constrictors construct another's death
by stacking slim breath upon breath until no more is left.

Adders addle able bodies into meal,
and Rattlers crackle should you come too near,
but not in here.

Boomslangs sling their back jaws into prey, to chew the venom in.
Black mambas leap even at thawed white mice.

This is where a permanent tranquilized matinee meets a life sentence,
all year long and every year hence.

Fang glands churn and produce venom to no productive use.
Serpent jaws pitch surge and yaw to locate the same frozen rabbit as yesterweek and the procession of all the weeks which preceded.

Though kneeless, to me they seem to be kneeling,
praying for prey to cross their path.

I make my way past the Coral Snake, Anaconda, Python and Asp, all lax, medicated or meditating on this wilderness where their hisses are merely reminiscent gasps.

Through the anesthetized malaise, we observe the faces of a most ancestral and mammalian fear, and they can gaze back at us, but rarely do, reduced as they are to being expensive jewels, on display behind the fingerprint smudged windows in the Snake House.

We got a new apprentice
Willem is his name
We nicknamed him Rodney
Cos he,s a plonker just the same
He,s a canny kid really
But bites like a shark
So we wind him up all the time
Just for a lark
He climbs the ladder like a girl
Takes a week to get to the top
Never gets us what we ask for
When we send him to the shop
He,s trying to pack in smoking
It really is a joke
When he ***** on his vipe
And vanishes in a cloud of smoke
We let him paint at bahtias
The bit round the door
he painted next doors wall
And got more on the floor
It splashed on his face
His hands were white
He,s really no Picasso
In fact he,s *****
But I really like him
He reminds me of me
I was like that too
When I was THREE!!!!!!
