Traveler Dec 2019
Sometimes I go out my way for a laugh
Sometimes I forget when it's time to come back
Running on overdrive
Faster then Bonnie and Clyde

I like to get lost in the woods
I'd live there if I could
In the pines I like to hide
Near a riverside

I don't need much sleep theses days
My hairs have all turn grey
I get up early and write
And post my poem at first light

Then off to run my farm
To keep my crazy world from harm

But what's the point?

Phospholipids, sucrose, phosphates
Biology feels like memorizing vocabulary.

Absquatulate, etymological, effluvium
English wants me to be a human glossary.

Axiom, cartesian, diophantine
Math is repeating the same problems in different ways.

Feudalism, hegemony, cartellino
History is staring at facts about dead people.

Humdrum, repetitiousness, homogeneity
Every second of monotony bores me.

Was it always like this?
I wrote this while I was supposed to be doing my biology homework...
Marshal Gebbie May 2023
Everyday in circles
Life goes round and round,
Concentric repetitiousness,
Unctuously profound.
Though the moment spat past,
Caught it on the hop,
Delayed it momentarily
Made the *******...stop!
Breathing hard with passion,
Eyeballs oscillate,
Frantic to resume the game
But left it far too late.
Can't locate momentum
Impossible to spin
Reversible prognosis now....
Out reverts to in.

It is where we have to share
everything one doesn't want,
especially contagious noise,
because estates are infectious
to the point of being incestuous.

A certain repetitiousness can
be observed, one out all out,
water blaster, lawn mowers
chain saws, an orchestra with
no regard for day nor dinner.

Avoidance brings no dividend
for those in recluse, seclusion
grants no escape from the en-
passant gleaners who garnish
oral morsels with verbaliser.

The revulsion of wind blown
carnivore wafting's mixed with
carbon-monoxide from Polish
coal, barking dogs, droppings
of cat poo on vegetable gardens.

On line deliveries of the latest
**** and moss solutions as
advertised on television being
sprayed copiously without any
warning or consideration.

Unsolicited conversations, late
night television, cars parked in
precarious positions, plus being
observed ever minute, lace curtains
are the first sign of a mad woman.
