"rebloom" poems
Snow falling the bear snoozing sunflowers stalling A Sunflower blooming The Sun is blinding Sunflowers blooming Mating calls for fighting a sunflower glooming Perennials rebloom as a sunflower tries to Sunflowers rebloom a sunflower dies too The snowflakes fall a Sunflower grows tall sunflowers wilt the dens are built Snow falling The bear snoozing sunflowers stalling A Sunflower glooming

Sunflower(s)
Remember me in spring when blossom's blush and petals flair a - light in morning mists that'll haze a rainbow hue - of flowered plush to portrait mine as every bud untwists. Upon the birding bath as robins splay the warbling chirp shall voice as tho' from me for you my sweet, in springtime bloom of may shall hear the larking flute of my decree. The dancing leaves shall tap and Ivy's birth and Snowdrop's bow as daisy eyes unveils as fragrant, olive air shall scent of mirth that once were lost, now shrines as spring prevails. Vernal rebloom shall stream that pulse of mine then seek that earthly glow, and there I'll shine.

I'll Be In Spring (Sonnet)
I won’t forget the way you shared your bed with her while I carried your child in my womb I won’t forget the way you bulldozed my grace and love just because I would rebloom I won’t forget the way you left me standing in the streets of Montreal—the reckless, frigid free-for-all I won’t forget our heart-to-hearts, fall-aparts, fresh-starts I won’t forget our once shared-dreams, fire-water color schemes; tip-toeing, balance-beams I won’t forget your lack of self-acceptance; your fear, resistance, dependence I won’t forget the way you disguise your loneliness; insecurity, disappointment— your selfishness; inconsistency, vacant empathy I won’t forget your impatience; porcelain ego, complacence I won’t forget the way you’d kiss my feet; plead for forgiveness; make promises, repeat I won’t forget an honest memory of you—instability, volatility But I will only ever wish you depth, perspective, and humility

An Honest Memory of You
It has been almost Two thousand And five hundred years Sine Plato’s cave Spewed us out Into an odyssey Of light and Philosophical Humanity Two and a half Millennia Spent clawing our way Out of the dirt Into this age Of technological wonders And now you Want to blunder Back in to That cave that Gave birth to A new science You want to Take back Evolution And electricity Medicines, and Other utilities Letting Freon Burn a hole through The atmosphere That was protecting you Letting old ideologies Rebloom and consume Taking the opposite Of mushrooms Twenty-five centuries Till we succeed In failing so completely As you drag me Back into Plato’s cave

Back To Plato's Cave
I am spread out like a ******** your own personal Jew and while I bury my blood in your thread count I knit one perl two Why do I let you annihilate me like this then stitch me back together? You use the same holes each time then ***** about their emptiness leaving me no time to rebloom Your garden looks like so many dug up graves, your kind of love- one prays while the other one brays we cannot get enough of you having left ourselves, bones and all with nothing but our souls to chew
