Lory, my dear friend,
I hope you’re okay,
Because sometimes,
It doesn’t feel that way.

Lory, you’re loud,
You’re expressive,
A magnet to many,
And your aura is massive.

Lory, you’re buzzing,
You’re outstanding,
At mostly everything,
They all see perfection.

Lory, what is this act,
Is it worth the Oscar,
This facade you keep up,
Have you always mustered?

Lory, the mask you wear,
Is burned into your face,
No removal now,
This facade is your fate.
I’ve written this about my friend who is struggling silently. She enjoys being the best at everything, therefore struggles when she’s not. I think this has come from problems at home, a broken family and things and she’s been affected. Thanks for reading my poem!
Such a hubbub in the nests,
  Such a bustle and squeak!
Nestlings, guiltless of a feather,
  Learning just to speak,
Ask--"And how about the fashions?"
  From a cavernous beak.

Perched on bushes, perched on hedges,
  Perched on firm hahas,
Perched on anything that holds them,
  Gay papas and grave mammas
Teach the knowledge-thirsty nestlings:
  Hear the gay papas.

Robin says: "A scarlet waistcoat
  Will be all the wear,
Snug, and also cheerful-looking
  For the frostiest air,
Comfortable for the chest too
When one comes to plume and pair."

"Neat gray hoods will be in vogue,"
  Quoth a Jackdaw: "Glossy gray,
Setting close, yet setting easy,
  Nothing fly-away;
Suited to our misty mornings,
  A la negligee."

Flushing salmon, flushing sulphur,
  Haughty Cockatoos
Answer--"Hoods may do for mornings,
  But for evenings choose
High head-dresses, curved like crescents,
  Such as well-bred persons use."

"Top-knots, yes; yet more essential
  Still, a train or tail,"
Screamed the Peacock: "Gemmed and lustrous
  Not too stiff, and not too frail;
Those are best which rearrange as
  Fans, and spread or trail."

Spoke the Swan, entrenched behind
  An inimitable neck:
"After all, there's nothing sweeter
  For the lawn or lake
Than simple white, if fine and flaky
  And absolutely free from speck."

"Yellow," hinted a Canary,
  "Warmer, not less distingue."
"Peach color," put in a Lory,
  "Cannot look outre."
"All the colors are in fashion,
And are right," the Parrots say.

"Very well. But do contrast
  Tints harmonious,"
Piped a Blackbird, justly proud
  Of bill aurigerous;
"Half the world may learn a lesson
  As to that from us."

Then a Stork took up the word:
  "Aim at height and chic:
Not high heels, they're common; somehow,
  Stilted legs, not thick,
Nor yet thin:" he just glanced downward
  And snapped to his beak.

Here a rustling and a whirring,
  As of fans outspread,
Hinted that mammas felt anxious
  Lest the next thing said
Might prove less than quite judicious,
  Or even underbred.

So a mother Auk resumed
  The broken thread of speech:
"Let colors sort themselves, my dears,
  Yellow, or red, or peach;
The main points, as it seems to me,
  We mothers have to teach,

"Are form and texture, elegance,
  An air reserved, sublime;
The mode of wearing what we wear
With due regard to month and clime.
But now, let's all compose ourselves,
  It's almost breakfast-time."

A hubbub, a squeak, a bustle!
Who cares to chatter or sing
With delightful breakfast coming?
Yet they whisper under the wing:
"So we may wear whatever we like,
  Anything, everything!"
for each and every day of the year

i celebrate the day that changed the world

the day that mary rode in on a donkey

and when jesus christ was born, thanks to cronus

this all took place, oh yeah it did

in the town of bethlehem

and i jumped up and said these words saying

i am the christmas man the christmas man

always talking about christmas even if it’s late May or early Jan

i have my elves make gifts to keep the kids amused

from george mc, lory to billy bob hughes

i am the christmas man the christmas man

i watch the adelaide christmas pageant every year

as well as the disney parade shocks the world each year

i watch the lighting of the canberra tree

and gather at stage ’88 for the great carols sing, can’t ya see

i watch the TV for the carols in the domain, and occasionally i head out there

and nothing beats christmas eve like sitting with family watching the carols by candlelight on channel 9

and i watch movies like deck the halls and polar express and the santa claus too

i listen to carols on the christmas radio stations on tune in radio

i am the christmas man the christmas man

i celebrate christmas differently to others, cause i am the almighty christmas man

i go to school carols nights, and i enjoy them a lot

seeing all the kids sing the carols that everybody knows and loves

i used to play santa claus at a local op shop ya see

and at the end of each year, i went home to celebrate christmas with family

ya see i am the christmas man the christmas man

i celebrate christmas all year round, because it’s fun

and i buy presents are a pair of hoppalong boots and a pistol that shoots

S urrounded by the silence that screams
I  beg the lord to help me and these dreams
N ot only be in love but I begin to hate
G lory is still here its never to late
L ose the hope you desire with fire
E rase my heart which is held by a liar
Salute to the marry man, with a wonderful spouse.
Who accept the role of that title with lory and honor?
Not trying to create a lot of babies' mamas' drama.

Papa was a rolling stone just not linked to your name.
Dealing with one strictly your main thing.
Raising your child to the best of your ability with that spouse.

Sure, there is a few dramas because you do have a woman in the house.
And like you, if you are truthful, she has a lot of mouth.

But when folks speak about you.
A majority of it is good news.
So, salute to the marry man.
Just maybe these words deal with you.

To see you look like, lory …
You got calm, as in rory…
And, you look not in fury…
Your smile washed the wary

How I can be, scary
I got to feel like airy
All my words are vary
Because I go to dairy

You are cute smiley…
Like you gone to valley
Someone think is rally
But, I know it is holey…

I brought for you, a rose
I tried to give you a dose
But doses not impose...
And, you haven't appose
