Just take me to the stars
So brilliant and so bright
What we were, what we are
Let's learn it all tonight

Let's fly up on past mars
From where we ran away
Healing Homeworld's old scars
We'll take you there someday

Yes, we come from the stars
But now we can't go back
Least not to open arms
For fear of an attack

But one day we'll show you
That land from where we came
But know that once we do
Things will not be the same

So let's go to the stars
Like diamonds in the sky
What we were, what we are
Up in a ship on high
Steven Universe fan poem.
he didn't want her to know
about the bodies he stole at night
the lights he took from others
absorbed and snuffed out with his lust
the kisses he gave to cold strangers
and the listless caress he secretly yearned for
he loved her true, but inside he was empty
an inverted soul
desperately gasping for air

she knew so much more than she wanted
she saw him in her minds eye
stealing into the dark
devouring even the starlight
laying in the deep ground
with the cold people of the earth
but her heart shattered long ago
now she was only waiting
for the calamity in the sky
to kiss her homeworld
and make it rain fire

but he came home before the end
just in time for the sky to disintegrate
in time for one last truthfull embrace
two lovers in vestigial embrace
'neath a black sky
vomiting ash and dying birds
no prescence but the silence
no color but the red and the black
no life left in the universe

I have the sampler HOME SWEET HOME
I've heard the words. It's clear.
Heard many people say it,
And shed many a tear.
I've tasted sweetness in the world,
Made many people dear
I've tried to make do on this earth
But my home isn't here.

I've heard refrains of Homeworld
I've been before its breeze,
The symphonic swelling peaks of hope
Well beyond the trees.
Will you help me get a glimpse?
Oh, God, will you please?
I'm tired of the poverty,
Hate, war, and disease!

If i could please just tell folks
Of its wondrous sights!
Not ever seeing want, despair
In this endless night!
Places redolent of rainbows
Refraction of the light!
Peak pure joy perpetually!
Happiness at height!

The slender, supple blossoming
Of lillies! Endless spring!
Of roses, buxom! Burgeoning!
And peonies which sing!
The dew never leaves them,
And bring a brilliant bling
There is a pleasant mist here,
Water falls and pings!

Such a spectrum! Endless!
Colors never seen
On the perch'd parrots
Which parody & preen.
Leaves which never leave the trees
Jeweled amethyst, NOT GREEN!!

I confess I've dreamt it.
Pellucid water's depths.
Though I've never seen it.
I confess I've wept.

Oh, God, let me be swept

From this place of hardship.
From this place of pain.
A place of passion's sorrow
And polluted rain
To a place so endless...
No horizon's on its plain!

Here's the place of perfect peace,
The place where angels roam
This is NOT a place of Pilgrimage...

Heaven is my HOME
