Through the haze of a lost timescape
I see the eyes of one who led me, loved me and left me
And now in this new dreamscape I wonder who is the dreamer and who has dreamed

Into being
The separate realities that collide
Reveal an existence that has always lived in me

And outside
In the new scape we navigate
I see the boundaries left to cross

For two people
In their new terrain, with no marked pathways
Only the yearning of something once known

A scent still lingering in breezes and forest fires
A familiarity that finds
The heart in a state of oneness with itself and all around

More of an anagram than a poem, but everything about Neda seems a little cryptic. So much misinformation has now been spread about her that little is now certain except that she died defending her right to protest against censorship and repression. Her name means ‘voice’ or ‘calling’ in Persian.
Pain may dwell, grief may last tonight
Pangs recall moments of past tonight

Lovers go blind this night, it is Union
No religion preaches to fast tonight

Then tear this flower—Leave me alone
Dear Love—your anger is vast tonight

"Curse" yelled the Agha—says 'almanac'
This is what made me aghast tonight

Mirza—accept your defeat—Love is lost
Separation—havoc is  forecast tonight
Mirza Sharafat, writers before Agha Amjad Ali, after agha discovered a bad omen from Almanac. Mirza Sharafat has extensively used Tonight as consistent successor for his rhyme scheme, in all poems falling under collection "Letters In Grief".
