In my copy of J. M. Cohen's translation of Michel de Montaigne's Essays
Cohen wrote in the introduction: "Montaigne accepted a double truth; the sphere of faith and the sphere of reason were to him entirely separate."

If I were to describe my own double truth, of reason and faith,
I think my sphere of faith is surely placed within the sphere of reason.

Like a torus of Reason and Faith:
Though I can rationally navigate my way to reach the membrane of my faith
What is truly hidden within is still ever beyond reason.

Perhaps through this relentless search of truth, and the piercing gravity of love,
I can one day breach and reach
The nucleus of this ring or Circle
That is Perfectly spaceless
And
Timeless
The Torus of Reason and Faith

To the man of my dreams
HIS KISS
  A kiss to long for
His lips first met mine
I long for more
He kissed my neck, then
Beneath my ear
A flood of ecstasy arose
To form a lump
In my throat
A whisper
Escaped my mouth
“No Please No”
Kissing harder
He could feel
My trembling body
Wanting, needing, begging
“Yes Please Yes”
  As time stood still
I lost myself
In the warmth of
HIS KISS
I wrote this when I was 18 it was my first real kiss

When you look back to the previous year do not dwell on the things that have gone wrong, plans that did not go as planned, people who didn't stick around for the upcoming year; your next chapter, your new journey.

When you look back and think those things have gone wrong for a reason; to make way for a blessing or to teach you a valuable lesson.

I want you to look back and think those plans did not go as planned because although that's what you wanted, it is not what you needed.

I want you to look back and think those people who walked away from you no longer served a purpose in your life.

The universe has a funny way of annually cleaning up our lives to renew it; renew ourselves, our worth, and surroundings for spiritual growth.

You've made it this far; another day, another year... you are still here.

You're stronger than you think and you'll get stronger throughout the year.

Do not give up. Your blessings are yet to come; they are very near.
Goodbye to the old. Hello to the new.
Let the past go, we no longer live there.
The only thing that matters is now.
