Andie Lately
Don't judge a book by its cover
Hard not to when it's torn off
The nakedness of you
Exposed
Telling your tale
Deeper into the story
Barely a ******
That ends in disappointment

I want to wake up every day in your apricot paradise
sunrise slowly over your eyes
A cosmic lullaby descends over my darkness
Steals away all my melancholy sadness
And upon morning, all I see is you.

I don't need a dream to chase
When you are walking with me
Your love sprinkles sugar into my eyes
And I am blind with strange emotion for thee
My chimera
My only love.
I don't need a dream to chase
When you are walking with me

words are to be shared not kept
words of beauty, words of love
words of  nature are not just words
Unless its spoken or written down...
some talks words of romance and love
some talks on the god's creation and beauty of the sea
some words praise the winter, spring and summer..
words.. words of praise.. words of appreciations
words of beauty and words of heartfelt love...
we all depend on words no matter how we feel...
words only words that reflects our thoughts...
words only words that shares whats in the mind
some words are not easy..
some words are so simple..
some words are just sweet words...
Sweet words of love, devotion, words just meant for you
Words that remain unspoken but the message still gets through
Words to make you happy words to make you sad
Words that say I love you and words to make you glad
some words are from the deepest core of heart
some words are merely hearsay...
some words are too good to be true..
words too can pierce a heart
But the words don't come easy
They're hung on frozen
lips standing there
While the world's anticipating love
And the words don't come easy
Lady laughs a laughing tear and says
All we really need today are sweet words
but true...
buts words don't come that easy in this cold cold freezing night...

Looked for you the other day
Looked for you-ooh the other day

So sorry, couldn't find you
So sorry, couldn't find you....

Still feel so bad, how could this be?
We really once were so close!

I know you'd say....hey, it's ok
I know you'd say.... hey, man, it's ok

Cos I'm not there at all
No, I'm not there at all !

I'm somewhere else, someday you'll see
Yeah, you ALWAYS had to go first!

Diaz, the discoverer!
Always searching
Looking and finding things
That others NEVER see......

Will always miss my late brother.
We were a mere 18 months apart, so very close.

They say time softens the blow ..... 'tis true, but.....

sub-entry:

'recognise'

after 16 years gone,
I pray that ...

I get to recognise your light
when my time comes.
I get you to welcome me
into the next realm.
I get to reach my point
with no compromise.

I get that beacon point
that .......
next step onto the final platform.

I pray my soul makes it
through the eye of the needle.

I pray you recognise me....dear brother.

(he was such a pioneer!)

I kissed you under the hot sun
(I was surprised you let me)
your lips felt like ice
they were so cold and numb
I wanted to bring you back to life
(back from the frozen desolate world you resided in)
but I couldn't
and no matter how hard I tried
to bring back the lights in your eyes
and the feeling in your lips
the touch of your light fingertips
and the beat of your cold heart

there was an arctic storm
deep in the midsts of your
eyes
lungs
veins
fingertips
lips
mind
heart
                                  you were so long gone
                                  nothing could save you
                                  from the heartbroken mess
                                  you had now become
One more recess
and I depress the lever
then laying prone
with a metronome  that ticks away
like a clock that's gone awry
I lie and close my eyes and listen to the steady beat
tick
tick
I lick chapped lips and wonder where the balm would be
inside the conservatory
or in the kitchen drawer?
My lips are sore
my life's a bore and so, prone upon the bed
I step outside of this weary head and wander through the passages
remembering massages and brief encounters
steps on which I've stood and wept
stairways crept up fitfully
just to see what was up there
and now
I come across the bare light
the coldness of the moonlight
and the howling of the winds that bite and harried me along
for I in fear would not delay
to welcome in another day and welcome out the night
polite is always best to be
never know when you might see or need a darker place
so just in case
I go that extra mile put out a charming smile
and all the while
my insides churn
my body burns
twists and turns and
in turns I see
the metronome that laughs at me
and what a waste then it would be
tick
tick
never as sick as when you're well
too much heaven down here in hell.
Then rising
realising that I'm back at where I started from
is like someone has dropped the bomb
and I am just collateral
a colony of flattery
and a sycophantic man I'll be
until the evening when I see
that no one stands alone with me.
In this saturation
this desolation spiced up with my perspiration
I don't smell so sweet
another timely beat from my friend metronome
ticks the box and I am home
tomorrow I may lie prone again
tomorrow just might be the same as if in this never ending game
I do not go to jail or collect my bonus from the bank.
Why So Serious
well Frank, the Government sponsored failsafe think tank
said to me,
'drug free is the way to go and then he went'
leaving me with bones so crooked, bent I can hardly stand
A helping hand that helps itself
to dreams of youthfulness and health
I see
or rather cannot see
what is the point and what's for me
but that is just another lie
tick
tick
my how time does fly.
Why
I don't think I'l ever know the answers that I seek so
dearly
I'm not nearly bright enough.

I endured the pain in the battlefield as a soldier,
Keeping my promises of returning at any haste.
That day, I would be coming home to marry her:
No moments left to shatter, or time left to waste.

A woman that all eyes of men are worthy to see,
Mona Lisa, a lovely name engraved in my scars.
In the train, I reckoned the memories so silently;
Our love has no ends, it was written in the stars.

An advent of a man’s burning pleasure for love,
I knocked the door, but silence whispered fear.
I entered; I found a painting on the stairs above;
An enticing self-portrait of Mona Lisa, my dear.

The dusk was painted by the colors of her smile,
I… I… I saw her with another man in the dark!
I traveled for miles only to witness that betrayal
Of her and bestfriend Leonardo, making a spark.

Bloodstained walls, caused by my troubled guns;
(She sewed my heart and then rent it into pieces).
I… I… I did **** them with my begrimed hands!
Should I cry for the sullen load of those britches?

I have never ran,  or burned beyond
any safe haven,
And your wit was lonely at times
In lost ripped things

Which in the end, forgot me.
Because  I cannot return out of spite

You're afraid
And you've striven
Although I myself have finished

You braved always strong by strong
And myself?
I acted.
(And resurfaced, screaming because I loved)

Her wispy memories
And your wistfulness drowned me at times

But I still remembered and stood
Lost, and very much torn

As the wonderful  fought
The tainted forgot
Always reaching

Because nothing
Which we are
Blurred at the edges
And it continues breaking when you're gone

Your heart is hardened
But I can still cry

Because whose really the one who is aloud to be called strong?

I listened to you with a  giving heart
Even though at times what you said was  foreign,
And you laughed, clever and bitter

With each slur of the tongue

(I do not wish anymore.)

What is it about you that reached
and understood; everything and nothing
Not the stains of your heart in all its  lonesome
But still it continued to be full of everything frightening.

You're still so high, and it's dark up there isn't it?
I tried one of those mad lib poem things, where you enter a bunch of adjectives and verbs and all that.

This is what came up.

I tweaked it of course and made it flow better.

I really like how it came out.

It's confusing, and at times sounds like I have no idea what I'm talking about.

But that's love isn't it?

Love is like a Rain
That suddenly appears of nowhere
That suddenly changes your entire life
A rain that wraps with soft voice as well as sadness

                                                         Love is like a river
                                                Always flows from you
                                            You dont need to touch
But always embraces you when you are alone

Love is like a mountain
You reach the highest thing or experience that you less expect

Love is like a spot light
The one that shines so bright
                                               And there I saw YOU

Love is like a wind
It blows and appears in front of you
Out of somewhere else

Love is like a sip of coffee
When you just relax at the coffee shop
There's a mystery that blooms around your table

Love is like a thorn of roses
You always end up hurting yourself
But in just ordinary day
There's someone who will comfort you out of the blue

Love is like a piece of puzzle
You always struggle if you can't fix it
But when you know you are falling you always
end up smiling for a reason

Love is like a puzzle
You like and love two persons
You end up confusing your mind
But have you realize the most important person
with you is just next to you?

                                                        Love is like a derp
You like to do silly things
Someone makes you laugh and happy out of a
reason that it made your day

Love is like a big crap
You are stupid falling in love

Love is like an ice cream
You need to lick it before it melt

Love is like a mosquito
Once it bites you
You can never escape it

Love is like a handkerchief
Someone held you a hand while you are weeping and sobbing
So destiny comes and save you

Love is Patient

Love is kind

Love is sad

Love is painful

Love is bitter and a sweet memories

Love is a happiness to be found
