reddened face
swollen eyes
they always lead to
a better rhyme

shaking hands
trembling lips
now feeling high
and confused a bit

tripping around
falling up stairs
now you are lost
fearless, my dear

It really is shocking
That someone like me
Could trip and stumble
And fall right into
That hole in the ground
Filled with happiness and tears
Filled with risks and fears
That we all call love

I never thought
That I could ever
Be so utterly consumed
By one man
By one soul
And sometimes
It shakes me to the core
I cry a little more
Every single time
You say, "I'm glad you're mine"
We can stay this way forever
Fill our infinity with each other
Hold on to one another
And, as always, I'll cry a little more

The venom in my veins made me go numb
and your face became something
like a colorless canvas
watching me as
i slowly but
surely withered
away
I Give You My Word
-
Listen closely to what someone says
Then wait for what they do
For its only then that you will know
If the words they say are true

Give to them a chance to shine
And let them find their way
But hold them to their promises
Make them keep the words they say

Know that trust is not just given
That sometimes it must be earned
For a promise once it's broken
Make a person just feel burned

You can sit back and be quiet
Not let your voice be heard
But if you do then dont complain
When you get what you deserve

Listen closely to what someone says
Then wait for what they do
For it's only then that you will know
If the words they say are true

take me to the ocean that's where i want to die
thats where you sat and held me every time i cry
but now my tears are because of you
so it's the only thing i want to do
you're my anchor so release me
and watch me drown at sea
i can see you're done trying
which means i should be done crying
but these tears will never end
into the depths i'll descend
my insides are already sinking
caused by too much deep thinking
so please let me drown in the sea
don't pretend that you'd miss me

I think I was enchanted
When first a sombre Girl—
I read that Foreign Lady—
The Dark—felt beautiful—

And whether it was noon at night—
Or only Heaven—at Noon—
For very Lunacy of Light
I had not power to tell—

The Bees—became as Butterflies—
The Butterflies—as Swans—
Approached—and spurned the narrow Grass—
And just the meanest Tunes

That Nature murmured to herself
To keep herself in Cheer—
I took for Giants—practising
Titanic Opera—

The Days—to Mighty Metres stept—
The Homeliest—adorned
As if unto a Jubilee
’Twere suddenly confirmed—

I could not have defined the change—
Conversion of the Mind
Like Sanctifying in the Soul—
Is witnessed—not explained—

’Twas a Divine Insanity—
The Danger to be Sane
Should I again experience—
’Tis Antidote to turn—

To Tomes of solid Witchcraft—
Magicians be asleep—
But Magic—hath an Element
Like Deity—to keep—
