Letter in a bottle
Tossed upon the waves
I’m sure no one will ever read
But if you do….

Come find me here
Alone on this lonely island
Bring a pizza, will you, please?
I’m not picky….

Extra cheese, hold the onions,
Sausage and mushrooms,
But never anchovies….

King of Limericks
Where behavior is deemed detrimental
The impact appears incremental
But anger infuses
As loathing reduces
Your soul to the size of a lentil

The whale is a fish and a mammal in one
As white has all colors and also has none
               The grandest of creatures
               With paradox features
Unknown and untouched by the light of the sun

South-by-Southwest
Dare the day
to raise the light
To dedicate
itself to the Sun's respite

To crush
the shadows
kidnapped
by night

To free the wounds
of fright or plìght

The sunny ray's raucous
crackling whips
Soon the darkness
will be flipped

To hear
the moans of
grinding time
The wheels spin on
as the engines whine

So does the day
dare the night ?
Yes it does
to the Sun's delight

Vitæ
We swim inside
the balsamic moon
rippling in laughter,
from the meeting
of our bodies still
shimmering
in water,
touched by life
but not by time,
weathering.
Together, we sail
in silver currents
circling bends
slowly as the river
that once carried us
empties into an
ocean dream, and
like sediments too,
we distill into
 infinity.
For those of us born under a waning crescent
