it doesn't care where you are or what you're doing, when ideas are brewing you'd better get a pen even when you're old like me, inspiration is no less likely,

imagine this, that inspiration's but a lovers kiss or a touch of God upon your lips.

Some paint or draw, act or sing but everything we do can bring
us to the bell that rings to say,
Ideas are on the way.
#worldpoetryday, not just a Monday.
This is not the gravy train
it's just Monday
and again
this is not the gravy train,

the roast beef and Yorkshire pud'
have gone,
maybe not for good,
but certainly until next weekend
comes along.

Two cups in and my pupils dilate
as if they're getting ready to give birth
to the coming of today.
I can hardly wait.
Being wrapped in your love
feels so good on a wintry day
makes me grateful even for the gray,
for this life I get to live with you
and the spring that soon will break through
the browns and the downs.
"I know what it feels like
           Not to be heard,
I know what it feels like
                       Not to be seen,
I know what it feels like
                                  Not to be read ,
                         But that never stops me
           From spilling out my all.
spring it is a season when plants begin to grow
pushing through the soil to find the light they go
coming from the darkness of the underground
reaching for the sun spreading all around

daffodils and bluebells and the snowdrops to
there are many more these are just a few
trees begin to bud for there leaves to grow
all a part of nature that gives your heart aglow

birds begin sing there lovely springtime song
happy as can be as they sing along
these are all the things that we see in spring
a season of the year thats such lovely thing
