Lunch
I’m being bad,
This is what I’ve had,
A crispy crunchy delicious croissant soft and fresh inside,
A delicious treat for the mouth and eyes, I don’t despise !
That’s no surprise ,
Why not
I’m a foodie
Just been eating Baklava
Oh how exquisite a sheer delight to the taste buds
Tastes good,
I’ve got orange smarties
Hey ** my hearties!
They won’t survive for much longer!
Don’t care
Don’t have to be stronger!
No self control
I just relax and let them go!!!!!

We are all run by electricity
And electricity never dies
The neurones fire away
And we see another day
So when we die
Our electricity lives on
Could it be we fly
To that place up in the sky?

Nothing is perfect in life
Except you!
Needs must be done
So off again I run
Ones work has to be done!

Just a couple of days away
But I will miss you anyway
You might just pine
Because you’re mine
But won’t be long
So just stay strong!

We had a robin visit us this morning
His breast was so red
He had a pretty little head
He was eating the seeds
I put out for all bird breeds
It’s lovely to see
The birds flying free
Enjoying the food
We put out for their brood
And they sing their thank yous
With their colours and hues
Sat in the trees
Easy to please!

Strong Winds forecast for tomorrow
Like a hard strong gust waiting to bust
Tie down your latches
or doors and your thatches
Lay low,
stay in don’t go
Out in the blustery wind
Make sure everything is pinned
Because the wind is a demon
Waiting to beam on
Everything in its way
It’s tomorrow they say
It’s angry it’s nasty
How long will it last y
We just don’t know
It’s not a friend, it’s a foe!
The damages it does
Is what bothers us
The danger
What’s stranger
Is we just don’t know
Where it will go
Up down across or all over
From Scotland to Dover
Fast as it comes
It goes
Leaving destruction behind
It’s just simply unkind and entwined
Blowing us all away front back sides and behind!

Well it’s been a nice quiet covid Christmas
My man and me Moose and Sam
But alas
The cooker broke
Yes no joke
So good that we had a worktop spare!
So I managed to cook the Turkey there!
So it’s been a Christmas time
With lovely food,
And drink, not like the usual I think,
Cream liqueur
I just adore
That much Turkey lurkey,
Makes me feel so perky
I’m beginning to look like one!
Turkey dinner was nice
Turkey sandwiches were good
Turkey curry is next
And with all that I’m quite perplexed!

Why do we have to sleep she says,
In the night time haze!
So we can be awake during our days
But why can’t I stay awake
So go to sleep for goodness sake
It’s to charge your batteries and keep you going
And stop you slowing
And keep you growing
So sleep now My little one
It’s night time and the day is done!

What this world needs now is love sweet love
Consideration compromise and care
There’s too much fighting and killing out there
Why can’t they use their brains
And work it all out
There’s no need for fighting
I’m in no doubt
A compromise
Meeting half way
Agree amicably
Is surely the way
Surely the precious lives that are lost
Is an enormous human waste and cost
Innocent lives are tumbled and tossed
There’s no respect for life on this earth

We all have wind
