What we need
Is a little sun
To make us smile
To warm our hearts

A little snow
On the tree tops
And rooves
To set the scene

Holly trees
Full of red berries
And Christmas trees
With pretty lights

The Christmas spirit
On Christmas night
Lovely pressys under the tree
Christmas songs for you and me

It’s just emotion

A feeling
In your mind
You’re dealing
with, of a kind
a part of healing
one might find

its just emotion

mood is an emotion
a sort of sensation
strong feeling or commotion
could be elation
sentiment or devotion
within ones own station

its just emotion

People have died and are still dying
Of covid we're crying
But people are still dying of cancer
well there is no answer
It’s sad but true
No matter what we do
We’re not immortal
Sadly eventually we all have to go to the portal!
The portal of mortality!

I danced to the music
In the moonlit sky
the fireflies danced with me
as the night drew nigh
the air was fresh and cool
the firepit was burning logs for fuel
the bats were flying across the garden
the owls screeching I have to pardon
the feeling was of freedom
in the beautiful garden of Eden!

It’s an eerie weary night
and the stars are shining bright!
The air is cool as a rule, quite right it’s a winter night! And as I wander through the stones on the ground with a crunching sound there’s an eerie feeling all around! It’s so quiet, and everything is still all asleep as they be, as they will! Time to imagine what’s out there, yes I think and yes I care! Interesting of what and whom in this world we share! Yes I do wonder, What is out there? Out yonder! On an eerie night!

It costs nothing
To love
It takes nothing
To have peace
It achieves nothing
To destruct

Dreaming is an awesome thing
Astro dreams are the thing
To go just anywhere

As a child
I thought there were tigers under my bed
Ghosties round the room
A dragon at the window
A puppy on my head

We used to walk to the twiggery
and bring my mum a gift
we had a duck with ducklings follow us
And a water rat, oh drat

My mum sent us
to take them all right back
We put the cat in the pram
and caught a dragon fly

mum couldn't cope with it
so she took Prince ******, aye
especially school holidays
my poor mum she did sigh!

Those beautiful lions show so much love to each other like sunshine and warmth!
They support each other with their love,
A mother ape feeding her young despite her strength she’s so gentle to her baby!
She cares about her family,
An elephant gives birth to her baby and she waits patiently for her baby to get up and feed,
She knows that’s what she has to do because her love is true!

Purple Flowers
On the bowers
The colour made up of red and blue
A beautiful smell and Awesome hue
A colour of passion
A kind of fashion
A purple pleasure
To admire at leisure!

I’m beat
The heat
But Can’t complain
Beats the rain
Feeling drained
I’m zapped
I need ice
That would be nice
And To chill
Literally at will
But that sun is hot
The air is steamy warm
Just like in Mexico
When we used to go!
But at least there
They had storms
ThT clear the air!
So I’ll jump in the jacuzzi
When I’m not feeling so woozy!

The storm is raging
It’s getting out of control
The wind is like an angry witch
And the rain is such a pain
Where will it drain
There is so much
The thunder rages like a demon
Falk like , hitting anything in its way
So stay indoors and hide away
Come out only
When it’s a better day!

I dream of a bright blue azure sea
on a hot sunny day
Feeling the warmth of the sun
and the touch of the waves
the salty taste of the sea
covering my body so gently
As I bask in the water
Floating peacefully!

A Bacardi and coke
Not so bespoke
But nice with ice
I really wanted a
*** and black
Now that, I could hack
Twice as nice
Again with ice
I barely ever drink
But here’s what I think
I couldn’t sleep
I needed a treat
It fit the crave
So here’s a wave
I’m off to sleep!

Pick me up
Make me smile
Laugh with me
For a while
Make me happy
Don’t be sad
Think of all the good times we have had!

My poetry and prose is coming back
Way hey
It’s raining hard I need a Mack

It’s gone so dark it’s turning black
Way hey
If it keeps on raining I’ll start to quack

The origins of life
Now was it Darwinism or Adam and Eve or could it be an alien who left us to breed?
Any which way we evolved !
Even if we came from a seed!
The real question is did we come from the ashes?
And in time do we go back to the ashes?
And how did we form down from our nose and eye lashes?
The big question is the origins of life?
Where did we come from and where do we go?
I simply can’t tell you because I just don’t know!

You've put a spell on me
Im entranced can't you see
you are now in my heart
Even though were far apart

you've made the sky so blue
And the bright sun shine through
even the leaves in the trees are bright
especially at night
when I think of you in my dreams

imagine beyond my tears
but will you wait? but it could be years
but now I can never have you in my wildest dreams

Its just not meant to be!

The piano should curb his drinking,
his necktie needs to wake,
Combo come back you're making a really big mistake,
The juke box, well just keep your fluids away
or the juke box won't live to see another day.
The carpet needs a cleaner,
And the spotlight needs a dusting,
The telephone should stop smokin'
Unless he needs a bustin'
And give the balcony a break !

The snow comes down in delightful pretty snow flakes
A visual pleasure it makes
And visually digesting the view
With beautiful music playing
To cerebrally amaze the neurones in the brain
Wielding the warmth of the open log fire
Would be many a persons desire
Taking in the exuberant beauty that is seen, heard and felt
It Can make your heart melt
And gets the senses to light up a fire
And enjoy it all, in a heartfelt desire.

The water is warm and bubbly
I feel the Jets of air hit upon my skin
So gently rippling as they go
Massaging my skin and every part of me
With drops of rain falling down on me
The air is cool as I sink down into the warmth of the hot tub warming my bones
And I’m in throws of relaxation and pure elation! It may be raining out there but do I really care?

The sun is shining the whole of the year
In a beautiful garden
Here right here
It’s in my mind but it’s very clear

There’s pretty red roses
And colourful flowers so sweet
The colours are amazing
To the eyes they’re a treat

There’s a feeling of freedom
Peace quiet and calm
In my beautiful garden
And my place of calm!

How very very sad!
From the news that we have had!

We’ve lost a Prince,
And Duke of Edinburgh
A good and special man,
He was loved by all
who knew him,
A wonderful wonderful character ,
And the loveliest of man!

I love Monet
And I love art
It’s fills my heart

I love the stars in the sky
That’s where I’ll go when I die

I love the trees
For me they please

I love the smell of a pink rose
It cheers my nose

I love snow
It’s beautiful you know

I love ground coffee
Chocolate and toffee

I love life
I’m a mother and a wife

And I love you
And all the good that you do!

Nows the time
to love one another
A hug and a kiss doesn’t go amiss,
To cherish each other’s lives,
To lose someone near is something we fear,
To support each other,
Be there and show you care,
To be Patient with each other,
And Tolerate at this time,
To consider each other,
Meet half way it will save the day!
To help each other,
Do what you can forget what you can’t.
Lives too short, love one another as you ought!
It’s time to forget the anger you get!
And go forward with love and peace in your heart,
Make your world a better place,
And those around you too,
To yourself be true!

I do believe there’s something disturbing the ether! I do implore! Could it be next door ? I think they’re smoking a ******?

I am so tired
My brain is unwired
The neurones are not firing
I need rewiring
I need plugging in
Just like an AI
But I wonder why?

Well the sun shines on the evergreens
The holly sort of glistens
I see no red berries on the holly
I think the birds had these
The sky is a subtle blue
With stratus clouds there too
Some trees have lost their leaves
But they’ll be back there soon
When the sun comes through in spring
Spring brings some cheer in nature
Flowers start to bloom
The leaves pop out on the trees
Then the gardens another room!

I swear if the sun and the moon weren’t there life would be bare,

If the birds in the trees didn’t sing to please
The silence would be cutting
If the sun failed to come out
It would certainly be quite gutting

Our world relies
On whats out there
in the skies
The light
The sun
How dark how bright
The stars in sight
The clouds
The sun rise
The sun set
The thunder
The lightening
The rain
The snow
The water helps things grow!

Beauty is from within
Its not the face
that we give grace!

Beauty within is
like innocence and that gentle kiss
like unconditioned love
like a turtle dove

like kindness
like tenderness
like caring and sharing
like a heart they are bearing

like empathy
like love wholeheartedly
like giving
like peacefully living

With beauty within
where there is no sin
from where good things begin
and comes from akin.

Beauty is from within
Its not the face

I’m feeling quite elated
My spirits have been lifted
I’m On a natural high
The sun is out and smiling
it’s going to be a lovely day
Every thing seems rosey
But you know what they say
With a rose comes thorns
But they won’t burst my bubble
Today I will be happy

Just words
In an etry way

He flew in out of the hot, hot sun
All tethered and worn
to sit upon the white cool wall
From evening until dawn
he slept there for a day
A beautiful moth was he
in the morning there he lay
so peacefully and still upon the floor
it looked like he had passed away
his life drained all in awe
but there was but a bit of life left
comfortable he was made
until  his life began to fade
and then he had gone
He and nature are now as one!

The frost was glistening on the ground
this morning
like lots of little coloured stars all around
the air was very cold
it was silent, there was not a sound
Icy cold but the sun was shining
after our walk we were homeward bound
to warm and cuddle up all cosy
Back to bed with my hound!

Sunday morning
Up in the dark
Think I’ll take the dog for a walk
Hey ** what a dark, dull day!
Bark, bark what a cold day
When you say, hey!
Say, That you love me,
Your love,
Just seems to warm me
Hey hey hey could be a beautiful day
And we can walk the dark and cold away!

Might strike up the heart
But another piece may not

What a cold and frosty morning

The sun is shining
It’s early in the day
It’s a frosty morning
In my bed I’d like to stay!

But out we go
The dog and me
And as we know
She takes me!

We trundle round the block
There’s quite a few of other walkers
Not the crisps variety, nor even stalkers
The dogs all walk their owners!

But it’s fresh
It’s bright
Im nesh
And It’s now light!

And when we return
I’m back to bed
It’s my turn
Once she’s fed.
