My husband makes fun when I say no one wins the lottery they’re all actors
And That’s what I believe
Until I see it  I just won’t believe it!

My kids say I’m a hoarder
My shoulders are broader
I’ll clear up one day

My friends say I try to help everyone and neglect myself and my health
Maybe I should listen to
Them

So I might tidy up
Have a rest
And hopefully win the lottery
But Is it all in jest ??????

When someone has sorrow
And needs to just borrow
A hug from the heart
Well that’s just a start!

Give hugs And support from the heart!

The poetry in me is flowing
About things I’m knowing
The emotions
The stresses
And Peoples life’s messes!

She lay there
On the bed
She looked like a corpse
Battered and bruised
Yet again

He sat down beside her
And into her face
He said she was his
And this is the case

He strangled her softly
As she lay there
Unconscious
He planned to **** her
If she didn’t submit

He wasn’t going to share her
In this world or the next
But did he really care?
He’s a ****** I swear!

Our world right now
Is suffering
Disasters
Wars
Politics

What can we say
Here’s another day

Our world right now
Is struggling
In nature
In nurture

Is dying
Slaughtered by warmongers
And mismanaged by politics

Stop fighting and killing start listening to each other, come to a compromise and respect one and all!

This world will be ending because it’s now bending and heading for a fall!
From Mother Nature with disasters to managing the ruling of the world and all!

This beautiful place
It’s peaceful and relaxing

I arrived just in time
He was on his way
In his wife’s arms
I wrapped my arms around them both
She was in a panic not knowing
I told her he was going
and was on his way
He finally passed away
it was such a sad day
Happy I could be there
To give my love and care

My poetry and prose is coming back

It’s gone so dark it’s turning black

If it keeps on raining I’ll start to quack

I’m writing poetry on my throne
You didn’t really want to know that
It’s quiet here
Infact the silence is hissing
Oh that’s my tinnitus
The bulb has blown
So it’s dark
It’s peaceful
It’s cool
It’s quiet
Nice!

And in the darkness all alone, I sit outside on the garden seat looking up at the stars,
Wondering what’s out there,
We know about the milkyway and mars,
And I can name but a few twinkly stars
Pluto, Saturn, Uranus, Jupiter of course mars
There’s satellites, of that we know
And the odd aircraft  flying low
But what about the UFO
Or things out there that we will never know ?

The Hunters moon was amazing
It lit up the sky
It had me gazing
I wished I could fly
But I wouldn’t try
My heart was racing
Looking up high
In that beautiful sky
Just simply amazing !

There’s so much green in our garden
From the willow tree to the bamboo
The apple tree , the holly bushes and the tomato plant
Not to forget the butterfly tree
It’s all celestial to me!

When I’m dead and gone
“I want to come back as a dog in your house”
Is what my man would say
Comfortable warm and cosy
Walked, fed and loved every single day
Cuddles, kisses and lots of games to play!

You’re in my thoughts and prayers
I love you so very much my friend
We’ve known each other for many years
I know it’s near the end
I’m holding back my tears
Remembering our memories I send
Don’t hold on to the fears
And although I can not mend
I’ll be there to wipe your tears!

Not knowing
It’s the not knowing that is scary
Sometimes it’s best not knowing
Am I being lairy?
Is it better knowing ?
I guess choice can just vary
To what we need to know
What we want to know
And what we will never know!
Not knowing!

Life is not immortal
Life ends and we leave through the portal
But we all want to hold on
We miss all those who have gone
And departed from this world

It’s a frightening concept
But we have to accept
We don’t know what’s out there
Belief helps to bear
Our fate and our fear !

I need sleep
We all need sleep
Sleep is wonderful
Dreaming is better
Look at the story
The narrative of life
We sleep and dream
Of things unseen
All mixed up
With a bit of this a bit of that and the a bit of the other
Sleep is a need
And we all need sleep!

I haven’t done much poetry lately
Too much going on
A sick husband and a very poorly friend
I need to care for whilst they are there for
Because life is fickle life is frail
We’re not immortal we can fail
Nothing lasts forever
It’s like a feather
It floats, it’s fragile,
But for a while
We can live
And we can smile!
Make the most
And run that mile!

I see the moon glistening through the trees
What a beautiful sight
And it’s still actually night
It’s five in the morning
Before the day starts dawning
Everyone and everything is sleeping
It’s quiet, it’s dark, and today it’s wet
Well that’s the scene that I have set
I need more sleep
Or I’ll be in a heap
So back to bed to rest my weary head!

The past may be gone
But it’s still here
In our memories
Memories so dear
They are good
They are fun
They make us laugh
They make us cheer
And everything we’ve been through
Especially good
The memories are here
As we shed a tear
Of laughter
We had fun
In the sun
And when the day was done
We had more fun
It’s not the past
It’s the memories that last!

I’ve known and loved you for so many years
We’ve had lots of laughter and some tears
We had so much fun Since our friend ship began
I’ll always love you and be there when I can !

Pick me up
Make me smile
Laugh with me
For a while
Make me happy
Don’t be sad
Think of all the good times we have had!

Life’s not easy
Or Bright and breezy
Cuddly and squeezey
Life’s more sneezy
Hard to pleasey
Often teazey
Constantly wheezey

Life’s quite hard
Often barred
Shown the red card
On your guard
Easily jarred
Some are tarred
Or up the yard!

Turn around
Don’t walk away
Stay for another day
Don’t let go

I’m a busy bee
As you’ll see
Walked the dog
Had a jog
It was nice out but very windy and cool
And as a rule
I pick blackberries enroute for a pie
Even when they start to die
The juice
A truce
All over my hands and face
Messy me as you see
Home what’s more
Mopped the floor
Oh there’s more
Washing in
Dishwasher on
Cleaned out the cat litter
Emptied the bins
For all my sins
And the morning is is only just dawning
Time for a rest
Back to bed with breakfast
Scrambled egg and smoked salmon
Washed down with a cup of tea
That’s me!
Busy bee!

Oh how I love you
But when we disagree
Or you don’t listen to me
I just despair
I know that you care
But I walk away
To cool down and cry
I get over it because our love is strong
So all I ask
Is a simple task
Just listen!

The poppy seeds are ready
And steady
To plant
And want
To grow
I know
Maybe slow
But
Are afoot
On their way
To live
And give
Such pleasure
A pretty poppy
To see
For you and for me!

The moon wasn’t quite complete this morning!
Six am when the day was dawning!
It was missing its bottom bit
As I looked right up at it
It wasn’t even a crescent
I don’t think it was bitten by a pheasant
A pheasant is just too pleasant
It could have been a gull
You know they’re never full
It could have been a swallow
Their little mouths are hollow
I think it was hit by a spaceship
When it’s driver was having a kip!

A chilly morning at 6 am
Off for a walk after REM
Not quite awake yet
But At least it’s not wet
There’s a nip in the air
no I haven’t done my hair
Thrown on a t shirt and a pair of shorts
On the fashion rating I’d get all noughts
My dog decides our route
Ok so she is so very cute
Ninety minutes we have walked
Yes in silence I haven’t talked
Home ward bound now
Dog on tow
When we’re back I just know
She will fall asleep, way to go!

Not everything is perfect in this world
And sometime ago
Like most others there have been times
I didn’t want to be here
I thought of jumping off the cliffs
Into the sea
I couldn’t do it Because that would be me
Gone
I have a daughter and a son
They kept me alive!

Peaceful and Quiet A sheer delight!
It’s so peaceful and quiet here
at Sleights in Yorkshire,
I’m winding down like a clockwork orange as it peals away the stress of life!
A visit to the coast is nice
Just to see the sea swish swash up the rocks and onto the beach,
And the air is fresh and clean!
The sound and the smell of the sea to me is a treat to the senses!
And back at Sleights the steam train passes and peeps as it goes!
The beautiful big old trees, elm ash, birch and oak stand proud in the grounds tall and poised!
The plants and flowers are so pretty and bright they smell so beautiful especially at night!
The atmosphere here is surely heaven!
A sumptuous place even better than Devon!

Words are so powerful they can lift you up,
Like a half filled cup!
Sometimes words can drag you right down,
Like a half empty mug!
That’s when you need a hug!

Those beautiful lions show so much love to each other like sunshine and warmth!
They support each other with their love,
A mother ape feeding her young despite her strength she’s so gentle to her baby!
She cares about her family,
An elephant gives birth to her baby and she waits patiently for her baby to get up and feed,
She knows that’s what she has to do because her love is true!

The ageing process is happening to me,
The wrinkles are coming
So I can see,
Everything is heading south!
Including my eyes, nose and mouth,
The double chin,
Well that could do with a pin!
The belly needs a tuck,
Or even a lipo ****!
But it’s the aches and pains,
The varicose veins ,
Thank fully I’ve Not got yet,
I sweat!
I need more sleep!
Or I’m in a heap,
I’m always tired
My brain is becoming unwired!
At times!

Where does time do, I don’t really know?
It’s flown away like a bird in the wind!
Why does time not last?
It goes so very fast!
It’s now here!
And Then
It’s gone!
Passed!

A sandwich of delight!
You take a bite
And move it around your mouth  and chew
And as the butter,  the ham and the soft seeded bread hits your senses,
A whirlwind of texture,
A taste of delecture,
And then you swallow
and it is gone,
Ok I’ll just have another one!

I love Jack Frost
He’s cool
He’s kind
He’s cold
He’s Refined

He twinkles on the pavement
Glistening and listening
cold but fresh
But I’m not nesh!

He kills the bugs
That we don’t want
By freezing them
And seizing them away

I love lack frost
Jack Frost is welcome most any day!

The moon shines down onto the lake
Your smile takes away my every ache
The honey bee buzzes collecting pollen from the flowers
I sat watching them for hours and hours!

The rain falls down upon the deep green leaves
And as you look into my desiring eyes
The beautiful birds sing with glee
As you float in my dream as far as I can see!

Please don’t ever leave me
If you do I will miss you
And one day you'll find me in heaven
And we’ll be together for all eternity !

I’ve been waiting and waiting
For the pink cherry blossom tree
To bloom for me
All the other blossom trees
Are a floral delight
Then just overnight
My blossom tree bloomed
Pretty pink flowers have at last loomed
late I know
But they’re beginning to show
What a beautiful sight
My cherry blossom delight!

The pain in my neck
The fatigue
I need a break

I keep on going
Never slowing
I keep it flowing

I need to slow
But I don’t know how
I go and I go

I sweat
From all the chocolate I ate
Another symptom I bet

I can’t sleep
My cough gets me up
When I sleep deep

I want to retire and write
Even in the middle of the night
It would be a sheer delight!!!!!!

The morning light after the dark long night
And the fresh morning air blowing in my hair
Is a beautiful feeling
The pleasure I’m stealing
Up with the lark
And down to the park
Birds singing their hearts out
Such beauty without a doubt
A good start to the day
Better weather on its way
As the sun shines down on me
It’s beautiful to see
The flowers coming out
nature so devout
It’s another beautiful day
And it’s now nearly May!

When I am gone from this world
Remember me as a poet
I know I’ll be whirled
Into space as we know it!
