Pale leaves fall silently in the dead of winter
I realise I have lived far too long
I was once a bold and outgoing singer
but no longer has life left me any single song-

in the night's thickest snow I wander
the heartless winds they blow loud and strong
tears of forlorn love on icy rocks they flounder
in this chilling hour I weep,  to none do I belong

Anything I desire
I swear it to the moon
Desires me back
I craved you
I wanted you
I needed you
I felt you
I touched you
I heard you
I saw you
I loved you
And yet people says that
You only exists inside my head
Sunshine’s If true
You’re the most alluring memory
That I’ve ever created in a lifetime.

Lately It’s so empty here
Where laughter’s once celebrated
Where the river’s once cried
Where the ocean’s once roared
Lately It’s so empty here
Where the sun once shined
Where the moon once seduced
Lately It’s so empty here
Where our hearts once merged
Where the rainbow’s arch
Once welcomed  our vulnerabilities.
Lately it’s so empty here,
Where hope once grew
And
Where love
Once
Loved

As naive as the moon,
I often seek light
from the dark.
And as I chased love in my ruins,
I heard his whisper from the wind.
For nights I wander
through my starless, somber sky.
And while I pick up
pieces of my soul,
I felt a soft and sudden brush
to my wings.
His breath wrapped me
with stardust.
His heartbeat was singing
a promise of love.
But I’m a bird.
Still chained to this gloomy sky.
