Have you seen my ring?
Its old now, and worn out
Its seen fights, and tears
Through the years, through every outcome
It sat right between my pinky and my thumb
Not the finger I used to point out what was going wrong
Or the one I used to say "I never loved you either"
It was on the next one, over.
I wore it proudly, it brought me a sense of worth
Now that its missing i'll move heaven and earth to find it
My hand is confused
That finger forever internally bruised
From the force of losing it so quickly
It thickly layered scarring on my heart
It is tarring me apart
I would give anything to find my missing ring

Utraquism
Sameness, plaid, plain
Repetitive, past due.
Change.
Newness, just getting started,
The unfamiliar, the surprise,
Opposite of paleo:
Neoism.
I first learned of the term "utraquism" in a history class I took about a few years ago at nearby university and the word means literally "same."

A masters in disasters?
A bachelor as a chancellor?
A Ph.D. in you and me?
When can it stop, this silly slop
Of pun exposed to everyone?
I thought of this rhyme consistency earlier and wanted to make at least something of it lol.  :P

A pioneer
Is one to plunge its own nature
Into the unknown unnatural,
Such as Daniel Boone and the woods,
Or a **** sprouting
Between the crannies of gravel.

I, as a kid,
Always imagined being a video game character
And hoped to gain abilities
That would shock the world.
Although that's considered a fantasia of some sort,
It's not too far off
From the fantasia of reality:
That we can imagine change.
And after imagining,
Accepting and beginning that change.
I have some idea of the practicality particularly of adults, but even adults can still have the imagination of a child...just with a different world view.

America, America
Your forests dense and lush;
And yet they are so quiet,
Like they told everything "hush"!

America, America
Some of her rivers calm and blue;
They are extensive and reach out
To places near you!

America, America,
Your people intelligent and brave;
Some of us are so adventurous,
We camp out in a cave!

America, America,
How your mountains may vary;
Some may be rocky, some may be snowcapped,
Some may be extraordinary!

Alas, I have finished,
There is no more for me to say;
But always remember,
There is no place like the USA!
This is certainly a throwback lol I wrote and had this poem published in the eighth grade and thought I would do a throwback for the sake of the social media quality of this site and hip as it is lol :P

Dance defined:
Energy’s expression medium,
Emotion’s yoga.
I want to increase my appreciation for the arts any way I can, and the best way for me at least is to see something like dance in a new light.  Hope you enjoy!
