When the morning light hits her eyes from skylight
Waking up is always a highlight

As the rain falls from the sky

When my life was beginning to unravel and get out of control

I was not bored of her love or the life that we shared
It was inside of my mind that I had no control over at times

But this woman made me realize that there was one worth more than hanging

The morning sun does rise

Like an angel coming out of the skies
The movement of your body through the city streets
Is like the sound of music and distant drum beats
Making your way down to the island where you find peace
A piece of mind and all your worries cease
As you sit on the bench and stare into the sea
I scratch my head and wonder if you think of me
As we move in to the dead of winter
Snow and cold make us shiver in the night
We hold on to each other with all of our might
As the darkness falls and we slip into dream space
All that I see is silhouette of your beautiful face

All of a sudden the pieces fit and life goes on just like we planned

The sky was dark
As the cloud took over and the muffled sounds of the dogs bark
The streets were bare except for the wind swept leaves
And me with my pet peeves
A sudden crack of thunder in the distance
Stopped me in my tracks for a instance
Fear Has struck me like a a train into the stop
Like a bad movie box office flop
It is funny how life moves
Things and people change from day to day
But in the end my love will never go away

As I stare and look at myself in the mirror
I don't like the reflection of what I have become
Where I am or where I am from
The life that I enjoy with the one I love
Has gone far from my reach just like my missing glove
As the wheels turn in my feeble mind
I think of the life and love i left behind
The guilt and the anger is trying to take complete control of me
My love for her is clouding my perception of things
To let go i must and just wait and see what tomorrow brings
The sun It shines again
But soon the rain will fall and wash away all of the pain

It's funny cause it is still raining in my head
It may not stop until I am dead
The sun is beginning to shine alot brighter today
I know the girl I love is here to stay
The world outside is still dark and  cold but even that is getting brighter
I stuck to my guns and proved I am a fighter
Love is the only answer I have to life

But if you love someone and you miss their touch

Right now the whole world is spinning
And me just sitting here on the train and grinning
It feels so strange being alone so late at night
I am still thinking should I run or just stay out of sight
People don't understand how I feel

The planes take off in the distance
The train comes to a sudden stop and I am standing there in some kind of trance
But these tears they continue to fall
I am breathing..... the question remains am I alive at all

But I have been doing all that I have been told
Life is bigger than both of us
And there is much more to discuss

Every day it becomes clearer
The clock is ticking but for us it stops
