The Memories We Made
Twisted Stiches Jul 2015
Did you want me to speak or not at all?
With all that screaming it's hard to recall.
I never meant to hurt you and you never meant to hurt me,
It's something we were too blinded to see.

Small things, I still remember
I don't know if I'll ever
have someone like you
I don't even know if I want to.

You were everything and without you I had nothing
that nothing never turned into something
I found another sure
and I promise I love her
but never like I loved you
Have you found someone too?

I will never forget
the time that we spent
hours wasted away
watching you play
and watching us fade
into memories we made.

Corporate America
Twisted Stiches Mar 2015
It’s Just Business
It’s just business
That’s all it’s ever been
A greed that can’t be tamed
Because we feed it.
We buy, they supply
That’s all it seems yes?
No.
Sweatshops and cover ups
***** fingers stretching across nations
Beauty in thread but the maker is dead
Enough said when death’s only cause rolled eyes instead of rolled up sleeves.
What’s the price of a human meat sack these days?
Workers are more produce then anything.
Corporate America
Laughable
Disgusting
A boy died at my work today. Not even twenty. My boss asked how much it would cost us.....
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
I stared at the light blazing like unleashed dogs
Curling across homes of the ****** among the dry shifting carpet
Slithering up a spire of oak like a venomous snake
Opening its jaws wide to swallow the miles of wood
Glass like molten steel clawing deep into the brush
The scream of a dying goddess who once towered over her seed
The weeping around her fire alights there limbs
Like a tornado with a heat of hell
Then the rain cold biting angrily
The gleaming beautiful hurtful lights hissing with anger
Several moments later the lights retreat with a whimper
And a new day shines again through grey skys

Catch Me
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
I can fly no more
My wings are spent
As is my incentive
Mabey its time

To let go of the past
And finally rest
So please catch me
as I fall from this blue sky

Let It Go
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
What happens when the war is won
The blood is spilt the deed is done
The flag has flown with hard hearts
the fear departed that tore many apart
put down the guns the bombs the knives
can you not hear the weeping wives

hand in hand a sad sacred song
for only those who've seen as we've seen
heard as we've heard
cried as we've cried
seen so many died
as we've not tried

In the end there's only one way to flow
like a river at peace and let it all go

Really Im Ok
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
Mommy Please top crying
I know your tired of me lying
mistakes i've made dangerous games i've played
with my cards layed face down on the table
left, hopeless and unable.

I know your scared I'll grow up a crime
but you were perfect and raised me fine
never needed a man to keep me in line
but somehow still with the devil's i've signed.

Alice- The Beggining
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
Mommy screams to much
and daddy's so quiet you'd swear he wasn't there
My brothers where are they?
my razor blade I can't find it
These mental scars I can't hide it!

stitches tape and glue
mabey that will connect the two
peices back together

cause just talking wont help me out
thats all im asking for
but noone can hear me
when I seclude myself to my room

swallow them down choke them up
im to much of a chicken **** to try
so why doesn't everyone else just die

told me it'd be better if I jumped off a bridge
had a pine box bed to roll around in
what if i really did
would you feel guilty
would you feel triumphent?
cause your pushing me farther
and farther to jumping.

Let Me Tell You A Story
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
Let me tell you a story
past pain and glory
or present and still there
bright like the suns glare

You can't even deny cause
even though you begged heaven above
you know that it's true
humans hurt like me and you

But they can also cause pain
and death and sorrow
and what the rain can't wash away
will still be there tomorrow

The devastation
left for the new generation
has not gone unnoticed by new eyes
but you cannot hide behind petty lies

damage is done and its hard to fix
but among those here are good in the mix
we can find a new light
we just have to put up a fight

Alice - Lost
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
Alice were lost again
We couldn't help we wanted to pretend
Dear alice, were lost again.

White rabbit , bad habit
and noone else can have it
this sadness this madness
were going down again
with no help from godsend

might as well show you about
cause were never getting out
of this hell..

Love Games
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
I let you in you let me down
I gave up and you come around
I turned back but you turned away
What do you want me to say?

Stupid to keep hoping
our bridges are broken
and I was such a fool
to leave my heart open

but the damage is done
It's not like we can run
fron our mistakes that we made
our games are like a trade

give me your pain
I'll soak it in like the rain
I'll give you my insanity
that no amount of vanity
could hide or subside
this love is a rolling tide

Black heart white soul
try to understand but you'll never know
the fire burns but its still cold
and this story never gets old

no sunrise tomorrow
we ran out of time to borrow
im just lost in time
somewhere you cant find

and baby i know you hate me
but im finding lately
i just dont care
that lifes not fair
and were at it again
but its easy to pretend

She's My Everything
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
She wakes in the early hours
gets undressed and takes a cold shower
looks in the mirror
wiping the fog to see clearer

and she says to herself
"Why can't I be someone else"
"Who am I, Who am I"
And I wish I could tell her
You are the stars in my sky

Even with the scars on your arms
and the holes in your heart
shes still beautiful
shes still beautiful
even with tears in your eyes
and your broken paradise
your still beautiful
your still beautiful

Healing (Don't Cry)
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
Hush don't cry
it's not that hard to look past the lullabies
and all the sugar coated, gift wrapped lies
and its not always once upon a time.

I'll turn the nightlight on
Cause I know you don't like to be alone
When your hearts made of untouched stone
and I know sometimes life is cold

Don't be afraid
You know im here to make the nightmares go away
hold you tight and tell you its ok
god the world can be a tradgety

Don't let go
you and I both know
your strong enough to take another bolow
and still stand to face tomorrow
Also supposed to be a song.

Clipped Wings
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
Sometime in growing up
It got harder to love
I felt the truth crash down
Broke the ground heard the sound
Of angels and demons alive
Couldn't save the world in just five
Minutes alone starting out a home
Never really belonged knowing all along
I fell couldn't get back up
To that point you just had enough
Couldn't stand on my feet knee's to weak
My will was no more then ashes on the floor

I know I don't belong
You can hear it in my song
Lone bird unheard
Falls off the rooftop
Brings the world to a stop
Everything drops
An earthquake in my heart
I will always be apart

My frayed feathers make me
My open heart states me
Even though this bladed wind stings
I will fly, living on clipped wings.

Falling Crowns
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
Put your hands to the sky and know that you'll be alright
Another hit of that light
You'll make it another night
Fire burns slowly but you aren't lonely
The voices in your head telling you to take the meds
Hear the crying of your own self dying
And im not lying when I say...

Carry me to the house of demons
cause I don't have any other reasons
and we've come to far to debate it now
The queens already lost her crown.
Was supposed to be a song but I like this more as a poem.

Pay to Play (Highschool)
Twisted Stiches Mar 2014
Pay to play
For a right of way
Nothing to say
It’s mandatory

It starts off good
You feel alive
But then it all
Starts to dive

When you don’t sing
Because they might hear
Even thought the words
In your lungs still sear

High rise on the demise
Of everything you thought
Was real but compromised
In what your taught

Hear your name
Look the other way
Fangs will meet you all the same

For now fight
For freedom and right
To sing through the night
Which you own
And to others
Shant you condone.
A poem concerning school from the time you start to the end of highschool.

— The End —
