They are neither here nor there
Floating in between brackets
A Just-Enough-Life
Not enough to afford diamonds and pearls

A false sense of security
Cushioned by the comfort of mediocrity
The middle of the food chain
Trapped in a cruel cycle

A powerless urban aristocracy
The aspiration of the poor people
The men and women of the white collar
The average citizens

They receive average wages
Their expenses and debt are beyond average
They have average education
They live average lives

How shall we escape from this dreadful life?/...

After the cold dark night
Comes a warm sunny morning
The adrenaline rush ceases
The heartbeat slows
A calm takes over

The war is over, peace takes over
After the marathon comes the rest
The old season gives way to the new
All travail comes to an end

Define your truth
Evaluate your truth
Add to your truth
Live by it!

Truth is like a tragedy scene
As cold as a blizzard night
It is a hard medicine to swallow
It is painful to the giver and receiver

Befriend and endear it
Seek and embrace it
Let it sober you and guide your walk
Let truth lead

To the greatest of mankind!
The queen of the earth!
The indispensable parent!
The best of all humanity!
Amai(Mother)!

What would the world look like?
How could it function and work?
Would there be order at all?
We can't magine life without you Amai

You conceive, nurture and protect us
You are the true darling of our lives
You're needed and wanted
The sweetest gift of all

Life begins in you
You feed and clothe us
And bring us back to health
Always thinking about us
Selfless throughout all your days

You teach us to survive
You know what's good for us
You prepare us to take on the world
We sore like eagles because of you

You really care. You really love!
You sacrifice yourself for us
Nothing like mother's touch
No one can take your place
Our hero! SuperMom!

We take the time today
To celebrate your beauty
And take a knee of honour
We salute and thank you
The greatest of all, Amai!
Happy mother's day

My life is like a dream
Where I am a drunken man
I see things moving about
Far from my control
My thoughts aloof within me

I try to react but it's too late
When I realise it, the chance is already gone
Forces are at play
That control my actions like a puppet

I turn left where I should turn right
I am neither going nor coming
I am a madman
I know not myself

What I want I cannot grasp
What I have, I have no need of
Driven by mischievous ideas
I long, yearn and lust
I cannot control it

I yield to fate
Time becomes my ally
One day I will be king
I will escape from this dream
And really live as I ought

The first day was about forgetting
Wearing new eyes
Resetting the patterns in my mind
Detoxing the inclination of my heart
No decisions made

The second day was about reminiscing
My mind noticed a void
My heart felt it too
What to do! What to do!
A decision has to be made!

The third day was peaceful
There was deep silence everywhere
All distress was calmed
And I came to realise one thing
The decision was never mine to make!

Sometimes we must say goodbye
And walk away
Far away from all we love
To a place strange and odd

Only to rediscover ourselves
To be reborn again
To reinvent our will
And recalibrate our hearts

It is on that journey we'll find solace
It is then we have clarity
Our minds are open to hear the truth
Free from disruptive noises
