I walk alone
strut and tall
I fly
by
all leather boots
and smeared eyeliner
with a poisoned lip
you can't touch
my black lace
or wild hair
I have a ******* tongue
and no ***** for eyes
and a rhythm in my
woman's hips
Don't you see me flying?
smirk
Just because I
traveled down a
new road
doesn't mean I can't
revisit old footpaths
favorite strolls
in shady memory past
New destinations
good
not permanent
you said you couldn't
fall in love

did you mean
with me
or someone else?

i would like to think there's
some kind of hope
some kind of light
some kind of love
that we can share
when we are less
broken

i don't want to fix you
but maybe
i can help you
to pick up the pieces
and buy the glue
that i know will work
because i have
used it
before
to a tall boy who likes spiced ***
She didn't have your eyes,
yet she reminded me of you.
She didn't have your hair,
yet she reminded me of you.
She didn't have your name,
yet she reminded me of you.
She was nothing like you,
but I can't stop thinking of you.
Build up your treasure
in heaven, with riches
that never fade

Reach out for the
greater things in life,
whose origins only
in heaven lay

Hunger for the spiritual
things, those special
gifts from up above

And my God will
reward you aplenty,
with all the fullness
of His love

Lift the Lord Jesus up
on high, for He  loves
to hear your praise

And keep His love
which is so special
deep within your
heart always

Long for the treasure
found in heaven
deeply craving it
night and day

For the place where
your treasure really
lies, is where your
heart will surely stay.
