I discovered a strange new world...
A world thriving with microorganisms

Colonies of colorful
bacteria fluidly flowing
through membranes
of cellular tissue.

Fine phlegmy parasites
covering  caves
of mucous membrane

Friendly fungi feasting on cancers
mildew and mould the tiny little dancers

And the viruses we so feared
Are holding the remedies of antient cures

The catalyst of the code God
awaits to be downloaded
And each and every microbiome knows it

The Devil
came down to reason...
His ethics no longer conflict
I think it only fair to say
twas true love
I mostly missed...

I'm not trying to come back
I'm trying to stay here!
I haven't got time for hell dreams
I'm awake and aware..

I love my human condition
In this inning I'm unique
It feels so good to hunger
Dopamine release...

Perhaps I'll run a marathon
These wind sprints do repay
Integral with nature
My essence rejuvenates!

I caught a fleeting glimpse
A spark of the Devine!
Now a repeating pattern of light
Flashes through my rhymes

The forces for good
We follow
Shielded us from the heat
I come to bring a breath of hope
With words that you can breathe!

At the opening of our minds
An emotion of gratitude awaits
Love is the key
To reverse our fatal fates.

And so I write of love every day!

Dear Betrayal
You’ve always been near
You limited loving
Intimidator...

You lured me in
Your deceitful web
Moths of time
Dried up dread

I don’t take it personally
The action of wrong
I never assumed
You meant to stay long

The waters shall wash
And so soon we shall see
The truths that uphold
Our inventories

Dear Betrayal
I forgive you
I wish you the best
And so I shall sleep on
Straight through your mess!

Twisted the truth...
He heartlessly
Sat silently seething
Smothering
Quite quietly
Utmost utterly
Stoically smooth!
Loki lingering
Leaving lopsided loops

Of course I can carry my own weight
And evidently the weight
Of others wonderful
Sedentary minded people...
...friends and relatives

But despite all the
"Passion"
I can muster up..

I cannot carry
The weight of the world!

I wake early every day
in anticipation of the rising sun

For me, unlike most my peer's
my life at sixty
has just begun

My body feels so good
so strong, so right!
I've taken up mindfulness
I've let go of strife

I don’t have a lover
My money is really tight
My truck needs new tires
My neighbor's
for some strange reason
want to pick a fight
But...
all of that
is but mere shadows
beneath this
Poet's light!
