Weight
unbearable weight.
Shackles,
Chains,
drown me.
Out of grasp
at last.
Struggling to break free
Wings failing,
desperately.
Fluidity
Softness
Hopeless shouts
Heavy breaths
Fighting to keep my head
above the water
Useless attempts,
they drag me under
Feet collapses
Wings flutter
I sigh.
It was all over.
Yet another poem inspired by the ballet Swan Lake.
