Chipotle Chili Challenge champions cheerfully choose chocolate chai cheesecakes
10/5/2019 - Poetry form: Tautogram - An alliterative , visual, one line poem. In other words, a line of words starting with the same letter. - Please note: Even though the word "cheesecakes" spilled over to the second line, I'm using my poetic license to declare that is is still a one line poem.  What's that you say? You don't have a poetic license? You really ought to get one :) - Copyright © Mark Toney | Year Posted 2019

It's time for lunch
And I want food
Something with a punch
Something really good...

I ordered a burrito
With delicious pulled pork
Its a little big though
I might need a fork...

I'm ready to eat
This incredible dish
I go and take a seat
And fulfill my wish

Bite after bite, heaven reaches my lips
As every taste bud meets an angel
This wonder perched upon my fingertips
Takes me beyond to an untold fable

Delicate mixtures of cheese and cream
Succulent pieces of tender meat
Miraculous flavor beyond that of a dream
On a tortilla of silken soft wheat

There is only one word left to say
As the tasty story comes to a close
Returning from this indulgent fey
Feeling like a remarkable rose

I've come to be a fan
Of four line stanzas
And A B C B
Rhyme schemes

But it's annoying me now

Everything I write ends up like this
And it all feels the same

I tried to write differently

And it ended up the same

I tried again

I hated it

I quit writing because it's become rambling and no one likes to listen to someone ramble about the same things over and over again.

No one likes Chipotle twice a day
This poem makes absolutely no sense and I apologize for wasting you time. It's just something I wrote at 1:30am too tired to sleep or think coherently and yea.
