In the quiet halls, where the echoes ring,
A young cadet feels the autumn's sting.
Drills and duties, boots in line,
Yet his heart beats to a different time.

Underneath the stars at night,
He dreams of her in the soft moonlight.
Her laughter bright, her eyes so clear,
A distant whisper he longs to hear.

His letters brief, his calls too few,
But his love for her is strong and true.
In every march, in every stride,
He carries her by his side.

A soldier’s life, they say, is cold,
But love’s a fire that won’t grow old.
And though the miles may stretch between,
He holds her close in every scene.

Someday soon, when wars are done,
And the battles lost or won,
He’ll find her waiting, hand in hand,
No more distance, where they stand.

Case Spadet!
Look at all of the beautiful stars,
(yea, get a flashlight, it's too dark)
Look at the way I float so high up!
(the affects will wear off soon enough)
You are my chief of tactical officer!
(I'm also on your own, that makes two of us)

*We are rank 2 divisions finest, and this smore's for you!
Hippies high, lol...just playing. This is merely comedic, I don't intend any offence.
