Look up and see the stars shinning in the sky,
Like little pearls shimmering in the lake.
And here we are as the night goes by,
Admiring beauty for beauty's sake.

The flowers are blooming, come, take a look.
What beauty they hold in their simple beings.
And so are the petals, such fragile things.
Welcoming the day, dancing with the breeze.

If only you could see from the artists eye,
What amazing colors this palette holds.
Painting a picture then none could paint.
Getting brighter and brighter as the day grows.

The birds are soaring on the blue canvas above.
Singing their songs in such heavenly tunes.
Oh the nightingales, the robins and doves,
All thanking the lord for this care and love.

The day progresses, it is afternoon.
And sun is now westward bound.
The day will end quite soon.
But we still got time to have a look around.

Look up again. The sky is red,
Wishing farewell to the day.
The sky is getting darker as we look,
Closing another chapter in heaven's book.
Standing at the crossroads, with doubts in my mind.
Unsure which path to take, which one to leave behind.
For one leads to heaven, the other goes to hell.
Both are dark and silent, with no way to tell.
It's been so long since I've been waiting,
For you to be with me again.
It's been so painful but I've been waiting,
In hope that I'll see you again.

Days have passed like waves at the shore,
And the light of hope is dying fast.
I cannot survive this pain any more,
And  I wanna let go of the past.

I thought fate had bound us together,
And things would go as I wanted them to be,
But now I know and the dream has shattered,
My love for you was never meant to be.
How lovely this world is,

How lovely these people are,

Why everything looks fresh and new?

I think I know what the reasons are.

The day I saw you, my world has changed.

I've never seen things this way.

Yet I've seen it all, near and far.

Such brightness, I've never seen before.

Lights brighter than the Northern Star.

The day I saw you, I saw the light.

This feeling I have, cannot be explained.

Though I'll try to tell you, but I may not.

This is the start of a journey, that I know.

What is at the end? I fear not.

The day I saw you, I fell in love.
My first ever work.
Let me tell you about myself,
a man in need of dire help.
Though I look jolly and bright,
there lurks a demon deep inside.

It burns and howls.
It roars and kills.
It ravages all whatever it wills.
With all its force, with all its might.

Its tongue is dark, its eyes ablaze.
A scorched head, a hideous face.
Unbearable to look at, impossible to gaze.
Even darker than the darkest night.

There is no salvation from this beast.
No refuge, no shelter, how hard I seek.
No friend, no mate in times of need.
I scream, I howl, no help in sight.

Suddenly, darkness shatters, lights blaze.
The demon howls and cries in pain.
I open my eyes and see your face.
You're standing alone in that cold winters night.
