City slickers born to tumble
will never make your mountain rumble,
take me to the parts that matter
in amongst the titter tatter
the coffee table ilks and dramas
cotton caftans and silk pyjamas
humming cars that cough and splutter
silver coins lost in the gutter
tabloid men in sharp pressed suits
trample down the fallen fruits
nothing sacred in this old town
except a peptic ulcer and a furrowed frown.
Not necessarily referring to a real town or city, more a reflection on social integration and life.

A silkworm made my purse so fine,
yet a tiny fly has ruined my wine.

You give yourself to someone,
become entwined with their soul,
then have to watch as they slowly melt away,
like a thin layer of snow, in the winter sun,
in desperation we try to grasp the vapor
but it slips through our hands
and drifts to the sky
when relationships fall apart

Liquid

You act like liquid
conform to your surrounding
rearranging all the things that define you.

you are trying to scratch off your freckles
Widen your eyes with your fingers
**** your stomach in.

I see the darkness form,
cloaking everything from within its fold,
shapeless forms appearing within the void,
unlocked only by dancing moonbeams,
fleeting through an unveiled window,
I hear the blackness call,
luring me into its calm serenity,
soothing my spirit with its words,
draping me with its veil
within it's sanctuary,
we shall elevate our souls
and rise up from the dead.

You violate me with your delicious tenture,
licking my soul with your words,
making my skin tingle with the anticipation of your thoughts,
******* me with your mind,
twisted obscurity in an ******* delight,
the cardinal remnants left trickling down my legs
breathing obscenities in a heterophonic haze

Push it

Dig that finger right into the darkest recesses of your mind,
push it,
feel the pain,
search through the darkness,
watch it rain

pull open that weeping wound
push it
touch the disease
run for the shadows
feel it ease

Ripped apart,
feels the internal bleed,
soul sneaks out like a thief at night,
caught under the light of a full moon
twisted turmoil
flickering flames
watchman's shadow is on the wall
the heartworm writhes
no light of day
danced with the devil
now its time to pay.

We throw lies into lives

like pebbles in a pool

watching the ripples disturb the calmness

then cascade off into the distance
Quite simply - cause and effect
