what does it feel like
to write poems about
a love that exists?
i don't know

if by chance our paths intertwined again,
i wish to be with you
no unbearable pain,
for us to work together
for a love that's new

holding many wonders
the beauty of the night with shooting stars
that shortly sweep over the heaven before waning away
wishes are made, hope fills their hearts
for a better future, or a fulfilment of their desires
tangled up within the depth of mind
on a crisp, starlit night.

every morning i wake up
and sigh.
my life isn't a fairytale
i take out my mask and take one more look
before i'm transformed into a person
i wish was me
this was written after watching "The Jetsons". the episode was "Future Calling: Videophones in the World of The Jetsons", and it shows judy putting on her "awake' face after just waking up and looking groggy. this really hit home to me because i thought of how whenever anyone goes to work or school, they automatically put on "mask" of what they want people to perceive them as! (me included).

a delicate blanket
of unrivaled light
twinkling dust
a shimmering galactic blast
an arrangement of stars that fuel the impossible
