Looking out my window on this cold and dark day, I find myself drifting and some how floating away. Mind over matter, matter over time, time over reason, and all without rhyme. Wanting to go forward but always falling back, wanting to prosper but head- over-heels in lack. Looking for a brighter day, hoping for some sun, no-beaches in view... No, not one. Looking out my window, speechlessly screaming out-I'm falling deeper into this.. Can't see my way out. Help me, in my mind... I don't wont to do this, no-one can hear, I'm yelling thru the mist. I'm so tired, I've done my best, I've given my all and I find no-rest. No, peace within these walls, these walls that are my skin; these walls that are so cold; keeping others out and trapping me in. I'm reaching out, reaching up, but falling in, into a maze that hates me from within. I can't seem to find myself, tired of hoping that someone else will find me too; so this is the logical thing to do. No-one, will miss me, no-one will care, I wonder if, anyone will even notice that, I'm no-longer here. I feel so cold so cold and weak, I'm falling now into a deep-deep sleep. Where will I wake? I just don't know-where do all the broken vessels go? The Question!

In order to truly enjoy the company of someone else, We must learn to enjoy our own company. Before, we can truly love anyone else, We must learn to truly love ourselves. Two halves in a relationship or friendship, does not make it whole: it takes two whole people to make a whole friendship or relationship. Stop, Looking for someone else to make you whole or even complete you, and look to God for He's the only one who can. Learn to be the kind of friend that, you would like to have. Sow good seeds like: Compassion, Understanding, Love-Without- Conditions, Trust, Respect, Kindness, Peace, Hope, Tenderness, Truth, Honesty, Forgiveness, Help-Just-Because, Joy, Long-suffering, Grace, Mercy, and Laughter: and watch as the seeds are watered with grace and with love. They, will produce after their own kind. Long-Story- Short,  Whatever, kind of seeds that you sow... Yeah!!! I self medicate, helps me to love all that I hate,
Helps me to feel all I cant find,
Like hope, dreams, peace-of-mind,
Helps me recover all that you took,
Like pride, self esteem, love, and even joy;
You left me broken...like a funky little toy.
So, I self medicate, just to escape the pain,
Rise above the guilt and shame,
Rewrite my life and be whole again.

I want more than just skin...... I want to be more than just common. I want someone to touch the real me---- beyond the body that they see.... That..... was --She. I want someone that's, not looking for help but something real and true..... I'm willing to provide---- but I want to build too--- can't build for us, If--- I'm bound to taking care of you. I want someone who will come-- running to me if, someone hurt them even if--- that someone  looked like me. I want someone who brings more than body to the table....... I can get body anywhere----believe me, I can and I'm able. That was..... He. I want more than just to fall in love..... I want love to fall--- In Love With Me! I'll tell you what--- Freedom is to me--- No Fear- No Fear.... of theses and more. No fear of being my different authentic self, No fear of being hated or even killed, because of the color of my skin, No fear of being hated and or mistreated because of my ****** orientation, No fear of being discriminated against because of my ***, age, religion, or fundamental beliefs: No fear of living my best life without judgment..... That Would Be Something Close To Freedom!

Sometimes..... What you have been searching for is right in front of you, and have been for a long time; it's just you have gotten use to it--or- them being there and you take it or them for granted. Then someone else notice them or-it and realize-- just how beautiful , strong,and amazing they or-it is; and they give to them or-it all the attention, that you did not..... and it seems just when you start to notice all the things that; they or-it use to do for you, all the good times, and the joy that, they gave you..... You-Know! All, The little things that, you never noticed before or appreciated as it were; you realize that, they don't do them anymore. You realize that, your{ You will always be here ......have moved-on} and all you can do is watch them; do for someone else..... What they use to do for you----and it hurts! We spend so much time going through stones....and our diamond is right in-front-of-us......so many times. Something I've Noticed.

I'm broken.... Bent..... Poured-Out.... Spent. I've been rejected... neglected....push-aside....looked-over. I've watched those ---who claimed to love me--- walk away....when I needed them most. I've been slapped around.... spat-on... rapped and kicked--- left for dead-- by a man.... Who said that, " He would always be there for-me---he would love and never hurt--- He was telling me this....as he beat me down into the dirt. I'm hurting---- I feel so low....no-one to call----no place to go...but there's something inside of me.... It's so strong--- it want let me-be. Something on the inside of me.....Says that I'm going to make it, Something on the inside of me----Says that I'm stronger than I know....Something on the inside of me lets me know that, I'm healed. Something on the inside of me is giving me victory.... Victory over my hurts, my pain, my rejection and my shame, victory over my issues as well as my circumstances: It's something on the inside of me that, makes me fight for me----- Something On The Inside.

Sometimes when I'm alone and need to be encouraged....... I give myself a long loving hug and encouraged myself. Remembering, If-- I can't or don't love and be there for me---- no-one else will or can. I must value me or no-one else will...... Sometimes.

Empty in a crowed room, Lonely though I'm not alone. Running fast while standing still... This is sometimes the way that I feel. Up, When I should be down, Smiling though I really want to frown, Intoxicated after making love; Sad for-no-reason... just because: Wondering is this life real. This is sometimes the way that I feel. Wanting but not having a need, Striving but just can't succeed; Needing a touch... A hug from a friend, Standing still alone once again: Dead but yet I live. This is sometimes the way that I feel. Loving but getting nothing in return, Standing on ice... Yet! Deep is the burn. Reaching-out, though no-one's there, Giving to those who don't really care, Wondering are they for-real... This is sometimes the way that I feel. Happy when I should be sad, At peace... When the world's gone mad; Laughing... Needing to heal. This is sometimes the way that I feel. This is sometimes the way that I feel,  This is sometimes the way that I feel.

Today., I realized something about myself, it seems that-- I am always giving into the life's of the people around me. I go out of my way to help others and to truly be there for friends and family.I seem to always be pouring into someone  else..... emotionally, financially, spiritually, physically, mentally, it's like I'm a natural care-giver and I love it.... that's kinda who I am but today it hit me. The one person that, I never seem to go out of my way for or pour into--- is the only person who has really been there for me... no matter-what without judgment, wholeheartedly, through all of my madness, good as well bad times; through the joys and every pain.... has been and is myself.I somehow forgot to take care of me---I guess that, I've gotten so use to putting others before myself, helping  others get to their place of healing.... that I didn't think about myself and my needing to be healed. I've poured out so much ...now I feel as though my storage is empty; and now in what seems to be my dawn.... I will learn to pour into me---for once I will put me first.... for once I will be down -- with me, for-better-or-for-worse.... I will put me first..... Starting Today.

I think that, I may just run away and never come back. Ever think about running away... Changing your name and becoming someone... Anyone else? Doing, something that you've never done but always wanted to do. Like going..Sky-Diving or mountain climbing...Ever, just wanted a new beginning? Ever, just wanted a different life--if, only for a moment?A new look, new body type, great wardrobe, the finest cars...Really good- faithful-loving-honest-kind-giving-true--friends. Oh!..and enough money to do whatever you wanted? Oh! Come-On! Have, you ever...just wanted to be free? I mean, to go wherever you wanted, whenever you wanted... Like to Paris in the Spring time, to Rome in the summer, Africa in the fall, and London in the winter? Well-- maybe not in the winter; then it would be to cold? LOL! Yeah! I think that, I'm going to run away, start-over... Live my life a different way...or maybe, I'll stay and just change, how I live... Starting today. Starting- Today!

I've been through hell and back. I've been abused, misused, neglected, rejected, torn,and served by those who said, that they loved me.... and had my back. I've been talked about, put down and kicked out, dehumanized, and despised by those I loved the most. I've been lied on and lied to, I've been hurt so bad--- I didn't know what to do; but through it all I survived. I forgave all those who hurt me...not because they deserved it but because, I needed to be free; and forgiving them saved and freed me. I survived..... through it all.... Still I Rise.

Can you teach me--- How to still the silence, when it's so loud I can hear it in the deepest parts of me. Can you teach me, How to give voice to my funk and sway my blues away? Can you?

It's not everyday you meet someone, who sees you beyond your flaws, and still stay with you-- open their wings to you. Who, Excepts you as you are and strengthen  you when--- you are weak!

Take me to the moon and back again..... Play me like the blues.... in an old love-song. Drink of my love and leave me weak...... I've been waiting for you all day long. Come- Take- Me!
