We Found Lust!
We found Love, resident in between the envelopes of our lips; never spoken but melted down our souls in contact.
We found love unspoken, right in the tombs under our belly-buttons; and there we lived, loved until love grew grey hairs so soon and travelled six feet underground.
We found lust; not love!

MYSTERY
life to you is a race
And you keep moving with pace
For every hurdle you scale
You find another few rails

And all that you chase
Moves quicker than your haste
And now you bow your face
In hate

Every footstep a mistake
Hard to erase
And when Every move fails
And it aches

Look within your base
With faith
You'll find in your suitcase
All that suits your case

And when you should embrace
And praise
If you embark on yet another race
Then you shall race, race & race

Until you come to understand
That life is beyond
My Understanding
Your Understanding

For LIFE is a MYSTERY

MAIDEN
On a cold night
A cold maiden night of two
Rather hot, with her in my arms
Timid as she lied
Sullen but lighthearted
Succulent was her skin

Hands clutched in mutual reverence
Moaned softly as I fondled
Words from my emptied heart
Half-lies, Half-truths

Things happened
Two made love in a spot
Night of her life
Her maiden night
Silver-shaken in the gloom
I left her, disconsolate

Silent sobs loud in my heart
I turned around and turned her over
Found a confluence of streams
Stream of tears, of blood
Alas! She was a maiden

She stood and left
Left me in the sanctum of my ecstasy
Left without the seal she'd brought
Left without the coins I offered
Left with a shattered pride

Certainly things happen
In continued promise
She?, As beautiful as ever
As committed as a believer
And I hope she never finds this note.

SPILT MILK
Like train in the station; their breath seized
Like ship in its harbor; their heart stopped
Like rain from the sky; blood spilled
Like plane in a crash; bones broken

Like shadows after sunset; their Souls departed
Like oil wells of the gulf; Grounds dug
Like babies' nap at night; Bodies laid to rest
Like grains planted to germinate; carcass covered in soil

Heaven is too far
Ground is too deep
If the dead don't hear our cries
Why then do we mourn all night?

Immortals wept for by mere Mortals
Mortals soon to transduce into Immortals
Only to be wept for by unsuspecting Mortals
Who shall also be wept for by Mortals;  how Cyclonic?

For Papa
For Grandpa

L'AFRIQUE
L'afrique
Home of giant eagles
Land of short monsters

L'afrique
Rubies, oil, cowries
Trade route for ivories

L'afrique
Gold, Blood, Diamond
Cold blooded demons

L'afrique
Story for discoverers
Magic for sorcerers

L'afrique
Mother of green earth
Oil goddess of black liquid

L'afrique
Beauty of a map
Fast trampled forest

L'afrique
Milk cheese honey
Rich vast & sullen

L'afrique
Home of the dead
Land of the living

L'afrique
Home of abundance
Land of starvation
Of pains
Of tears in the rain!
L'afrique is my poetic line on the sardonic state of Africa, the abounding wealth of human and natural resources and the ironic sufferness and tribulations.

STAY!
Troubled I am by
The gradual death,
Of a panting dying love

Struck I am dreadfully,
By the scary fears,
Of a fading emotion

The light feather Of her soft replies
Conceals what her bleak heart fight
To explain

Her frequent disappearance
Makes my timid Heart beat
at a 100 mph

Olden days become golden days
& golden days become our hope
Our soft hope!

What can I read her
What can I sing her
On a Saturday night

Stories to tame
Tales of persuasion
To charm
And more

Before love disappears
Into the calm vegetable morass
We must try again, again

Stay!
With us
My wild LOVE

— The End —
